I see what the grift is with this Dark Souls "Magic" run.
He's trying to expand his Minecraft "Chill & Interactive" style of streaming, where he's entirely dependent on his paypigs directing the gameplay by having them throw quarters at him while they tell him what to do.
It's so greasy.
Unfortunately for him, the paypigs aren't biting.

I'm not watching and I'm not fucking going to. Not even a restream. His shit is so tired.

Is he still running a tips goal as part of his overlay? And banging on about "tip me higher amounts so I'll get MOAR MUNNY!"?

EDIT: I'm sure about a thousand people called, in both jokes and serious posts, that DSP would eventually go "Twitch Plays" with his streams so I'd just like to congratulate you all before I go blow my brains out at the notion of a man being paid by others to let them do his """job""" for him. No longer "Tips Goal", but he has left up "Tips Total" explicitly (in his own words) because "people seemed more motivated to donate". So yeah, just straight greed, and yet another thing he said he would never do that he's doing.

On a more serious note: he now wants to postpone tomorrow's "Retrospective event" to the end month:

What the hell has that got to do with anything? Just because he supposedly can't stream Dark Souls today (like... who cares?), he's moving this thing back 10 or more days? What the fuck?

If I look at his schedule...

...he can just, you know, DROP the Dark Souls stream and just follow the schedule as it was set? What kind of lame excuse is this? Why move an event that has been on the calendar for months just because you're missing one or two streaming sessions where you would've played games nobody gives a fuck about? It's goddamn Dark Souls and Minecraft... And he's going to be playing Kingdom Hearts 3 and Resident Evil 2 soon as well, so why clutter the schedule more than necessary with a "full day" of streaming the retrospective event if you can get it out of the way before those big playthroughs?

It would be the shittiest reason ever for a professional streamer to cancel such an event, because you could always take an hour or so to look for videos yourself, but hey...
Though, I'd swear I've heard him say something about suggestions for videos he should watch during the retrospective event being really low. Like three or something. Or maybe that was about questions for Ask the King, so I'm not completely sure about that.

Whatever the case: DSP is a weird man.

A couple pages ago someone suggested that Dave will create drama on purpose if it starts to quiet down a bit.
This seems to be one of those cases.
He made below average money yesterday and probably drank all night.
Now suddenly, he has this whole case of "Dee-trahktors fucked with me, dood" which he will probably bitch about for the next 90-120 minutes on pre-stream instead of playing the game.

inb4 the "online chat person" told him that they know about his 10 year legacy and that he "did NOTHING wrong".

On a side note:
Even if the whole thing happened and he spent several hours sorting everything out.
This would still mean, that he was awake until like 3 am before he noticed the "fraud".

Why did he not just call whatever company he needed to clear the "fraud" up with it would have taken about 10 minutes over the phone Vs. "Hours" with online chat. I am in the camp that this is made up because somebody stayed up to late hitting the bottle due to his depression from low "interactivity" yesterday.
He is also unprepared for his 10 year Beggacy Retrospective Part 2 and doesn't want to get caught watching some of his videos without knowing what they contain.

I'm watching Tevin's restream of yesterday's Dark Souls kick-off, and DSP prefaced the run by stating this is going to be a gap-filler game that he will only play when time allows, and will take a back seat to those white hot new releases. So why is he rearranging his schedule to make up for a missed session of his low priority gap-filler?

Oh right, because he doesn't want to do the retrospective event and likes portraying himself as a victim.
