Official Physical Health Speculation & Cancer Discussion - hulthy just big

Not everyone is affected by weed the same. A really killer sativa can keep you up for a whole day and suppress an appetite. If only that were her. Amber has already stated (on a past YouNow) she's not too big a fan of bud, after trying it a few times.

Agreed, plus weed makes some people paranoid and overthink. I can imagine her getting too high and the reality of being 560lbs and an infamous YouTube star hitting her.

However, Rafe has said her and Amber smoked at least once together and Rafe has posted snaps of weed a few times so I don't think it was uncommon in their household. They used to stay there for days at a time. It's not a stretch to imagine either scenario tbh

I wonder if Becky is on Valium? it could also just be her smushed face and natural slack jawed yokel look.
Skip the crack and go straight to meth. She'll shed pounds like it's nobody's business.

For real though, I'm in the camp of her not getting addicted to painkillers or really anything other than her current drug (orange chicken). One addiction does not an addictive personality make. You don't necessarily see sex addicts also super into Percocet, you don't see heroin addicts horking down super size fries and triple bacon cheeseburgers. It's not a cause and effect to be obese and addicted to painkillers (although there is probably some research to support that obese people who are in pain due to obesity will possibly start abusing painkillers). Kentucky is a conservative state when it comes to drugs, sure, but also our gorl's history with her parents might put her in a more cautious mindset about substance abuse. If only she'd seen the same dangers coming her way from food... :(
I agree. People definitely have their “drug” of choice. People who are addicted to downers could do an upper and leave it no problem. I guess I just meant she has to be in pain and a lot of it. Maybe neurontin/gabapentin (spelling) I just can’t imagine being that big, cartilage probably shot to shit, and whatever is wrong with her back that she can’t stand up straight. Just waking up and walking first thing must be terrible. That kind of pain would make me rethink my stance on meds. Medicate the fuck outta me please.

AL must've rethought her stance on meds cos she's slinging back Ibuprofen like there's no tomorrow.

She's in a Catch 22 though now - she doesn't move because it hurts and it hurts more when she tries....because she doesn't move. She said something about her laaayggg feeling better when she stands up which does indicate a trapped nerve, but now she wants a second opinion because she doesn't want to face the reality that standing up may help her layyyg, but her back, hips, knees and feet are screaming instead.

And even sitting down she's at an incredibly uncomfortable angle because her arse is so massive. We've seen it in the car but even more so at Eric's sister the other day; she was canted back at an alarming angle because her shelf hits the back of the sofa long before her upper back. She's absolutely developed the MSHPL splay, she's just careful about showing it.

It's unbelievable really. Usually we'll do anything to prevent pain but not our gorl. But we've heard the eye-openeeeen mea culpas so many times to know they are as in the moment as her pleasure from eating.

Incidentally, I'm not sure she could have any decent painkillers from Gabapentin or Lyrica to the opiates. They all make you very drowsy and she has sleep apnoea, the risk of her stopping breathing would cut out a lot of the hardcore pain meds. I hope the $10k cheques are worth it...

Yeah she's in a pickle. It hurts to move, so she moves less but that hurts in a different way and makes the overall problem worse, so it's harder to move and hurts more, so she moves even less... All while gaining even more weight because the smidgen of calorie burn she was getting is gone.

All of her options are, at best, going to be uncomfortable, which is just unacceptable to her. Unfortunately the path that's the least uncomfortable (for now) is also the one that ultimately makes everything worse.

That's quite the grave she dug for herself. Whoopsy!

I will just interject that she keeps using the word "ibuprofen"...

If she were popping ibuprofen, it would probably do her no real harm unless she manages to OD on it. Ibuprofen is mostly absorbed by the body and undergoes little liver metabolism. So, while she is probably taking it in greater doses than she is supposed to, it won't necessarily ruin her liver.

Let's hope she is not being dumb and confusing ibuprofen with Tylenol. Tylenol is not ibuprofen. It is acetominophen. If she is popping Tylenol like there is no tomorrow (and there very well might not be for her...), she could seriously damage her liver. And if she has a fatty liver, which is a safer assumption than that of the sun rising in the morning, it will compound this likelihood of liver damage.

Amberlynn is dumb, but she is not so stupid as to make that kind of mistake, right? And Becky is intelligent enough to know the difference at the pharmacy, right? I mean, this is a potentially dangerous thing to mix up, especially if you are taking more than the recommended dosage... I'm sure Becky knows ibuprofen when she sees it, and would not put our gorl at risk of liver failure...right?

Oh dear...

I know she has a lot on her plate healthwise to think about already, but I thought I'd just toss this out there too... After all, it could kill her. No transplants for deathfatties...

She has said Ibuprofen in the past and somebody mentioned seeing loads of it in one of her bougie product-of-Kors'-nightmares bags.

But it's harmful in a different way and one she's unlikely to notice. Ibuprofen is a NSAID and all of them can cause stomach ulcers. True she's mitigating by never taking it on an empty stomach (cos those three stomachs are NEVER empty!) but it's something in NSAIDs themselves. She's likely gassy, bloated, has heartburn and god knows what else gut pains all the time from the vast amounts of crap she shovels in daily, so would she even notice an ulcer forming?

She's exactly the right combo of ignorance, dumbth and no care for tomorrow to make any pills a liability.

I don’t think Amber would have the patience to jump through the hoops related to keeping up opiates. The new restrictions make it a real pain. Gp’s can only provide you with a maximum of 90 days before you have to see pain management, and you’re lucky if you can get an intake in those three months. Because of her depression, addiction to food, sleep apnea and family history she would probably be deemed a high risk patient. Because of that a pain management clinic might outright reject her. Plus opiates make you crave sweets. Since most opioids are paired with Tylenol taking it over the counter would be a huge no go. She’s going to completely wreck her liver with the OTC alone, that’s not even touching on drinking.

Last I heard even after major surgeries you can only be provided with a 5 day supply at a time. Any opioid would come with a pain contract as well, and going to the ER and receiving any controlled substance invalidates it. There would also be drug tests every 30 days and any sign of noncompliance would discontinue treatment. Doctors are really towing the line, it’s even worse in areas like the south because the abuse is so bad.

Getting Gaba or Lyrica is a lot more likely, but they do have a risk of suicidal ideation involved. Chances are they would refer her to a psychiatrist to actually manage the meds after a month. I know some of these laws vary state to state, but federal laws make the entire process difficult and costly.

As far as I know with major surgery you can still get a multi week supply, though it might go state by state or even doctor to doctor..

Gabapentin is likely, but I'm not sure how much it'll do for her either. It's not notoriously potent, since even 1800 mg daily can be completely useless on some patients, it's really meant to off set neuropathy in combination with good habits.

Sadly no, surgery is considered acute pain and you can see the restriction here. Now it can be refilled, but it really messes people up. I don’t want to get too offtopic but it’s really causing severe issues.

While Gaba isn’t potent it’s considered to not be addictive or abuseable which isn’t entirely accurate. But I agree I don’t think it would really help her pain, its just the easiest to obtain.

Huh. Well. Good thing to read for future surgeries.

I'm honestly not going to be surprised to find out she has ulcers already and if her leg pain gets worse the 'Doctor won't give me pills to help' vlog won't be far off..

if she wasnt such a cunt, i would feel sorry for her,
because imagine it, you wake up and the first thing you notice is pain, pain everywhere , but especially your back. because all that weight jt weighing on your poor back bones and muscles.

and as someone who is familiar with back pain , i dont want to know how much all that weight hurts.

but whadya know, Gurl dug her own grave and its gonna be a painful, slow and stinky death.

shouldve stuck with weight watchers, Hamber, now look at what kind of mess u are in.

I think the biggest issue would be the fact that Amber's genitalia is about two feet deep in the fat. First you have to get pass the thighs, then the fupa, then the labia majora (which also collects fat, fun fact of the day) and then find out what in the possibly prolapsed mess is the vagina. The pressure from her visceral fat alone would be enough to cause a prolapse. Every time she struggles herself up she causes pressure to the same area. Putting your hand in there probably feels like you're miles deep in water, just so much pressure.

I've had to witness a gyno exam on a 300 lb woman. Getting them on the table and in the stirrups is alot of work already. There was one nurse holding the patient's stomach out of the way, the doctor had to battle the fupa alone. They had to go to the back and find a speculum long enough, as the fat makes it very very hard to see the cervix. The vagina literally becomes a foot deep when the fupa and labia majora get big enough. It took the largest possible speculum they found, one nurse holding the speculum in place as there was no way it would have stayed there as it's supposed to, ne nurse holding the stomach, doctor doing their thing and one nurse assisting the doctor. It was a wild ride.

Now imagine it with someone who weighs twice the same. There is no way anyone has had access in Amber's genitalia in years.
This is sort of off topic but can be related to Amber, so here goes. In the show Family by the Ton, Amanda (age 37, 650 lbs) needs to lose weight to deal with endometrial cancer that had been diagnosed 2 years ago. She said that her cancer can be caused in part by obesity.

My questions: Is the cancer something that would have been caught during a routine gyno exam? If no, what symptoms would someone her size have to be having to get the doctors to check for cancer? Amber is 9 years younger than Amanda but not far off in terms of weight (and she will definitely surpass Amanda's weight by the time she's Amanda's age if she doesn't get her shit together), is this something Amber should be concerned about? It's unlikely that Amber has ever been to a gynecologist. If we pretend Amber cares about preventative health care, should Amber make a point to see one?

It could have been caught during a gyno exam, like in a regular person's case with symptoms and a pap test, but like Amber most morbidly obese avoid doctors like the plague. A gyno exam is uncomfortable as it is, let alone for a massive person. Doctors are willing to test obese people for cancer just like normal folks, obese people just don't want to hear what the doctor has to say. Obesity does make it harder to get biopsies, imaging or pap test etc. and symptoms can be confused with obesity related issues. Amber should be scared and get properly examined by doctors, it's a miracle her body is still holding on.

There was a video of hers from a year ago where she discussed the difficulties of having periods. She has irregular menses as expected, and when it does come she bleeds a lot (forgive me my memory is hazy and I have no inclination to browse her catalogue). She considered seeing a doctor. However someone (also an obese lady) told her that it is because she is overweight. And that was the end of it. She never saw an Ob-Gyn because she believes she can resolve her issues by losing weight. And well we know how great that is coming along.

She'd still have to get the insulin from the fridge. What would happen if Beckster becomes immobile because she's having such a hard time with her ankles? I can see it now. WalMart mini fridge haul!!!!

She'd get a pump and fail to maintain it properly, leading to infection and death.

Same thing would happen if she ever got around to getting a CPAP. As I understand it, those things need to be cleaned daily to avoid mold growing in them. She'd have pneumonia within weeks.

We are at the point where the medical interventions she needs to deal with her obesity would likely cause her some serious problems, if only because she'd never be arsed to replace parts or even give them a cursory rinse once a day.

So, the other day I was speculating that she lacked a theory of mind (that is, she didn't really grasp that on some level that other people have thoughts, feelings, and intentions, or that those things might differ from her own). I was half-joking, but this speculation about sleep apnea damaging our gorl's brain prompted me to Wiki it, and, well...

"The theory of mind impairment describes a difficulty someone would have with perspective-taking. This is also sometimes referred to as mind-blindness. This means that individuals with a theory of mind impairment would have a difficult time seeing phenomena from any other perspective than their own.[72] Individuals who experience a theory of mind deficit have difficulty determining the intentions of others, lack understanding of how their behavior affects others, and have a difficult time with social reciprocity.[73] Theory of Mind deficits have been observed in people with autism spectrum disorders, people with schizophrenia, people with nonverbal learning disorder, people with attention deficit disorder,[3] persons under the influence of alcohol and narcotics, sleep-deprived persons, and persons who are experiencing severe emotional or physical pain. Theory of mind deficits have also been observed in deaf children who are late signers (i.e., are born to hearing parents), but the deficit is due to the delay in language learning, not any cognitive deficit, and therefore disappears once the child learns sign language.[74]"

She takes everyone at face value because she doesn't grasp that they might have hidden feelings ("Eric and Rickie are my friends! They said so!"). She doesn't understand why everyone on earth doesn't take her at face value as well ("Why does everyone think I'm lying about this?"). And she probably thinks she's the only one clever enough to be manipulative (even if ham-fistedly) or lie (even if unbelievably).

It's all coming together...

I know this has been said a lot but holy fuck, I've never seen beetus knuckles quite so bad. Her knuckles look like mine did after accidentally slamming them into the wall moving furniture. Jesus. Even the discoloration around her neck isn't that bad.

If you took a photo of just her dirty, bruised-looking knuckles and arms full of unhealed sores, people would think it was a photo of a heroin junkie's arms. For real. She's entering Luna Slater territory. At least Luna's wrecking her life to get high. ALR is letting food wreck her life like it's heroin, only the food high is even shorter than a heroin high.

What peeves me most about her health, though, is that she has the tools. She has the knowledge, the money, and most importantly all the time in the world to get her shit together. The average Bumfuck, KY fatass at least has the excuse of not being educated about diet, likely has shitty insurance and can't afford to see a nutritionist, let alone piss off several of them. The average KY fatty at least can cook unhealthy food that TASTES good. They've usually got a couple kids to feed, probably on a shoestring budget, often while working two separate jobs to make ends meet. ALR has nothing to care for but her own fat ass, and she can't even manage that. No, she'd rather overdose on gross biscuits from a tin and the gastronomic nightmare they call "chocolate gravy."

I just don't get it. If you're gonna be a 600lb fatty, at least be the kind with a nice personality and a great fried chicken recipe. Becky's dead great-grandmother is probably rolling in her grave after seeing the canned clusterfucks Amber calls soup.
