What Are The Worst Character Designs You Have Ever Seen?

All the character designs for the Bibleman cartoon. The live action series was full of camp value and I enjoyed the cheesy halloween costumes the bad guys wore, especially Luxor Spawndroth. Yes the show is bottom tier live action kid entertainment (with added Christian brainwashing!) but goddamn do I eat up trash like this.
All the fights in the series consist of Bibleman swinging a glowstick/lightsaber prop in the air while the bad guys fire fake looking projectiles that he deflects. Most episodes include wonderfully cringe (and sometimes catchy) musical numbers by the bad guy.

The series got a reboot several years ago and its a generic looking CGI cartoon. Yes, its terrible but not terrible in the special way the original Bibleman run went. Just boring bad. Don't know if it even has the songs.

The art style and pretty much everything else from the old '80s cartoon Heathcliff irks me harshly. Somehow they managed to get Mel Blanc to do voicework but fed him the most retarded writing. I considered posting a link to the theme music, but that would be cruel. It's catchy, but in an STD kind of way. Damn, '80s cartoons were so terrible.

But she's supposed to be in and out of trouble, not have a group of friends.

Speaking of the thread topic...what about that old black maid that appeared in the Little Lulu shorts?

Yeesh...a monkey. At least WB cartoons tried to avoid da MONKEY look.
In all fairness, the John Stanley/Irving Tripp comics that came out later are often considered the best version of Little Lulu, and she did have friends in that otherwise.

I suppose in the case of DiC, it's one of why bother with a show that feels like two separate entities merged together? The Heathcliff portion, at least to me, always did feel off, maybe because they made Iggy so far too cute than he was in the comics.

I hate Deku and Bakugo’s hero suits. Deku’s looks especially ridiculous. I get that it’s supposed to look like All Might but, it comes off like a weird rabbit.

I don’t want to double post, so I’ll add that Ness and Lucus have terrible 3D renderings. Their sprites in Earthbound and Mother 3 are much nicer.

They look fine enough for Smash, but Ness's design is not what I pictured playing through the games. I always imagined him a bit less fat and taller, and with eyes that aren't completely soulless.
Then again the official clay model looks pretty similar to his Smash model so I'd say they did a good job.

I played Brawl before Mother 3 so Lucas doesn't bother me as much.

Aside from all the other obvious problems associated with it, the one thing that cemented Battleborn as not even worth considering playing was the character designs. Most of them are completely terrible and very few of them look like they belong in the same universe. Overwatch may be a shallow, shitty MP only character shooter but at least their characters have a uniform style guide at work.

The only character that managed to have even a decent design was British-Steampunk-Sniper-Robot and that character was just blatantly a higher polycount "borrow" of the robots from Sir You Are Being Hunted.

I can sort of see where you're coming from with Deku, even though I think his costume looking ridiculous because he's trying to imitate All Might is the whole point, but how the hell can you look at Bakugo's costume and not see it as a perfect visual representation of this guy's character? Great design is looking at a character for five seconds and instantly understanding what type of person they are.

Those instances in life I wish it was all just a mean April Fools joke. In all seriousness how do we go from something like Thundercats 2011 to an artstyle and character design that just bleeds obnoxiousness.

I wonder if it's some kind of "we need to hold on to the rights"-type scam, like I think Sailor Moon Crystal was.
