I noticed that for this segment, while he is actually reading whatever, he is frequently neglecting to mention if the person cheered when he responds to them. If you were watching on Youtube, you might get the impression that Phil will just talk to the chat for free.

This dude has a serial killer-level of narcissism, it's absolutely incredible how he is completely incapable of taking ANY blame for anything, no matter how small it may be (like how he fought a boss in a game, or had a bad time in Minecraft). You want some homework? All of you watch documentaries on Jim Jones and Ted Bundy. Really pay attention on how they evaded law for so long and how they talked throughout the events. Its a surreal experience when you do compare phil to those things. Things start making sense.

Random rant by rewatching the latest Minecraft stream:
Never have I witnessed this level of handholding. He is incapable of creating any independent creative thought, every idea and step has to be explained to him, like an alien who asks: "Is this creative? Or is THIS creative? I dunno, explain". The finalization of his ugly cobblestone tower was infuriating. There is no real punishment in this game, just do what you like. This game only needs you to plan in advance on some occasions, but he even fails this aspect - every time. And by watching nearly every single move he does, he literally does not understand Minecraft. From breaking blocks from a ladder without a proper tool, to not understanding he falls down if he breaks the blocks below him, to seeing how he made an unnecessary attempt to collect 3 dirt blocks. He simply does not think, EVER. Screw this, it's not even thinking. He lacks any INTUITION - if it has nothing to do with money.
Videogames are his job, guys.

The more I understand the personality of Phil the more disgusted I am.

Imagine if PR/advertising teams did the same shit for movies, etc.

I laughed hard when he was trying to break a stone block with another stone, which takes forever. He's literally 1 hit away from breaking it, stops and says "Let me make sure I'm crouching so I don't fall", then starts trying to break the same stone block with the same stone again. All the while, he had a diamond pickaxe on him. It was so very weird.

He simply does not think, EVER. Screw this, it's not even thinking. He lacks any INTUITION - if it has nothing to do with money.

There was a great moment last night when he was defeatedly ruminating on how he was basically lost in the nether forever, and how were you supposed to navigate and blah blah. He apparently flatly ignored everyone in the chat suggesting that he leave landmarks of cobblestone and torches. You know, foreign objects that you have an abundance of, which would stand out against a different monochrome palette. A practice used by humans for survival since we crawled out of the goo. When he finally acknowledged someone who suggested he build little cobblestone towers for visibility, his response was 'I'm not going to do that, I don't have a way to get down.'

When running from some ghosts, he was desperately trying to jump up a hill, but couldn't because several blocks were two high. He scrambled around like an idiot instead of, you know, breaking blocks as he ran. Once he got around a corner and was hiding, he refused chat's suggestion of digging in for safety. I couldn't tell you why.

There were several points last night where I wasn't sure if he was deliberately doing stupid things and ignoring game mechanics to create tension, or if he was genuinely that stubborn and stupid. More than usual, I mean.
