but assuming it's a case where indigobang can make no money: i speculate that dogpatch would want people on welfare to work for him just so he'd have another excuse to avoid paying them later on. 'oh i can't i don't want to get you in trouble.' But some of the screenshots seem like he had intent of paying.

so dogpatch 1. was cool with committing welfare fraud by paying someone on wellfare but then 2. didn't pay someone who worked for him. He'd look less shady if he'd just paid her and been guilty of one of those shitty things.

I really have no idea how welfare works since I've never been on it. Is it that people can't earn any amount of money or is it like the ADA thing where you can make money but you can never have very much money in order to qualify and you have to report it?

So many furries and cows with threads here outside of Animal Control tend to advertise their cashapp, ko-fi, and paypal.me accounts while also linking their Amazon wishlists. Hell Indigo even has a ko-fi. They love advertising they're poor in the hopes they'll get money without having to work a job, either because there are no jobs in their area or because they got fired for bitching about their job on Twitter all day instead of working. Sometimes they'll even advertise how broke they are in between pictures of them at cons or showing off their flashy toys. Even Chris-Chan has been known to do the same thing, he's gone to cons like Bronycon and spent money on toys despite being broke as hell.

It's not even being rich as much as it is getting a fursuit and going to cons. It doesn't matter if money comes from having a stable job or paypigs in the fandom, as long as you have money to waste from somewhere you're all good.

Some key points: Deo says that Dogpatch didn't defend Sangie, then seems to maybe regret saying that when Anuvia shows up with proof that has already been posted in this thread. Yeah I watched it as the thread unfolded, and I find it kind of weird that Deo steps in now to get involved. She was completely silent back during patch's cubshit and mass blocking.
