"Folks, it's almost the beginning of the month when ALL OF MY BILLS are due, so I have to work very hard everyday to pay the bills, the best way to help me right now is to TIP ME"

"Btw I'm taking the second stream off today, you can still tip me when I'm not doing anything though, okay?"

He claimed to go all around to different tournaments on the east coast and that he won a lot of small tournaments but I haven't found any record.

Friendly reminder that Phil is on pace for ~$7500 on Twitch this month and has that massive Twitch payment of around $16,000 (cheers + subs from Dec) coming. He's also gotten about $3400 in tips this month (maybe $3200 when accounting for Paypal's fees). That he's begging for money still is incredible.

when does phil really not need peoples help with money.

get
a
job

"sadly just getting views for a game on youtube isnt enough to make ends meet anymore"

says the guy that has a twitch, and a patreon, and a teespring, and a youtube. fucking what lol
If he wants to increase revenue, just announce he's enabling comments again, and he'll get a flood of failtroll comments that give him a few cents per click.

He hasn't been on a Views-Based contract in years. His Youtube money comes from viewers watching the ads on his videos. So, unless "Detractors" are hate-watching his Youtube ads for some reason, this wouldn't really work :p

wanna put a shock collar on him that shocks him when he uses the word "hype"
he'd combust in a day

And then he'd blame it on faulty collar mechanics. "This is shock collar is bullshit. This collar mechanic is bugged man. Nobody told me not to say 'hype' *ZAP*. I did nothing wrong!"

Gee, this whole time all of these Hollywood studios have been "staggeringly dishonest" about celebrating the success of their summer blockbuster movies.

Those rat bastards payed countless millions on advertising for their products, SO OF COURSE people are going to see it.

Those movies need to be discovered randomly by the general public, who also need to pay full priced admission to a film they no nothing about, for it to be a legit accomplishment.

THEY DIDN'T EARN ANYTHING

God he's a salty little bitch.

Edit: Even better, I just checked on Twitch. None of the top few rows, save for one, have #ad or #sponsored (you know, as required by Twitch and by law). And the one that does is sponsored by someone who is not the game maker. So Phil's salty and, shock, wrong.
Why is this shocking to Phil? The game is free. People lose nothing by trying it out. Maybe other people are different but if a game doesn't look interesting to me, seeing someone I like play it won't make me want to play it. But when a game is free, I may be more inclined to give it a shot since I'm not putting any money down.

EA announced and released a new BR game set in the Titanfall universe. Looks solid, TF 1-2 had enjoyable movement and shooting mechanics.

Will Dave actually try it or will he speak ill of the streamers who are playing it(400K viewers right now), calling them 'shills' or whatever. I'm hoping for the latter, but either will do.

Phil (@TheyCallMeDSP) Tweeted:
When you pay multiple big Twitch streamers to play your free game and get it to #1 most viewed, WHAT A SURPRISE, people download and try it themselves. Not saying the game is bad, bc I have no idea, but stuff like this is staggeringly dishonest. https://t.co/Kriy9Jr6E3 https://twitter.com/TheyCallMeDSP/status/1092662263389929473?s=17

Well, there you go.
