The bad feelings are probably setting in as he feels the sobering coming on. I don't know if I find it more sad or funny that Dave gets lonely and inserts himself in twitter happenings. When given the attention he blocks people even when some of those had a question or an idea to help is stream. I wish I could feel bad for him but he has screwed up every relationship on his terms. Thanks for the horrifying pic LD.

A quick scroll through Phil's Twitter feed showed me that pretty much all he does besides talk about his streams is try to feel better about himself by dunking on others when an opportunity presents itself. Which he often does in the safest way possible, because it's not like his opinion that people living in a post-apoc setting should look kind of grungy is a unique one. It has been a standard since the beginning, actually. Just look at the Mad Max movies. He knows damn well that there are people on Twitter to back him on that, or at least would be if he weren't DSP.

The fact that he hasn't given up is a sign of how insane he really is, because he knows why he's not going to win here.

Apparently ignoring Twitter is exactly what Phil did for years, and I'm not surprised, because he's lazy and it would seem to me that he didn't use to stay up late every night drinking either.

I'm curious if he exhibited such behavior while with Leanna. Overall, he seemed more satisfied with having her as a roommate than with Katherine, and I assume that's a factor here, because we know how Phil is. Not even he would act like this if he had somebody in his life that he truly got something out of interacting with.
