Vic Mignogna fired from Funimation & RoosterTeeth over accusations of sexual harassment

Noticed that Funimation is still paying the pedo Kenshin guy a royalty.

Real shit: Voice actor Illich Guardiola married a 16 year old. Another actor named Scott Freeman got arrested for possessing child porn. While those two haven't worked on anime since (at least publicly) most of the people chimping out over Vic said nothing about them.

Internet bullshit: This is gossip currently on the same status as Vic's stories.

Sean Chiplock is a furry. This means there's lots of drama surrounding him. From "stalking" someone, to asking a 15 year old what they masturbate to. When it's about Vic, he says to believe women but the accusations against him are just baseless lies.

Tom Wayland was accused of raping a woman at an anime convention. I think he lost his job directing the Pokemon dub after that, but that was pretty much it.

There's also a lot of autism around Kirbopher. More than I want to step in.

Lots of the screechers work with these three. Some of them have worked together.

Illich Guardiola's name was removed from the credits of an anime that came after the scandal(I think it was Digital Devil Survivor 2)and Scott Freeman was replaced from all of his ongoing roles after he was arrested(most prominently England from Hetalia and,IRONICALLY,Issei from Highschool DxD.)so yeah, those two are definitely done in the industry(also, apparently Monica Rial dated Illich in the past but never spoke a word about him when that shit happened...).
Tom Wayland still does voice-acting and he is even in Smash Bros Ultimate as Arceus and Keldeo and also in some Gundam stuff. That scandal may have cost him some jobs, but not his career(also, his IMDB shows he has worked in some hentai and in some weird erotic live-action Japanese movies...).

Pics of that?

I might be in the minority, but personally I think the only thing wrong with Vic getting shitcanned is that it didn't happen much sooner. If nothing else, it should've happened after he made extremely inappropriate comments to child cosplayers while hosting the Dragoncon masquerade . While the article makes it sound like it's only a couple SJW genderspecials accusing him out of the blue, this shit has actually been going on for years and been reported by so many people (including people who definitely aren't sjw types) that it's pretty much an open secret to those involved in the weeb con scene.

I think the reason why it took so long for anyone to do anything about it (other than the cons that have quietly refused to invite him for years) is that thanks to his herd of crazy fangirls he's a bit if a cash cow as far as dub VAs are concerned. Some cons are willing to tolerate him treating staff like shit and getting creepy with girls because he brings in attendees. Funimation probably waited to boot him because in a post #metoo world keeping him around could finally result in serious losses for them.

While the SJWs fabricating evidence and hopping on board solely to virtue signal and distract from the skeletons in their own closets suck, as a weeb con autist I can definitely confirm Vic is shady a fuck and has been for years.

I'm outraged at the people who wanted to alter and edit "evidence" to make him look bad.

I'm outraged at Anime News Network, for using fan pictures WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT to "expose" Vic. Those fans have come out to say that they didn't like their pictures being used because their interaction with Vic was not an uncomfortable or negative one.

And I'm outraged at the asshole voice actors who are only interested in virtue signaling.

Yeah, I'm almost at a point where my opinion has made a 180 in this situation. I see an opportunity for SJWs to ruin a man who has been outspoken about his Christianity right now.

ANN and their forums are so atrocious I'm surprised they don't have a thread yet.

The Vic situation is getting super spergy, there are leftist people just taking all of the accusations at face value without a second thought and there are irl gangweed members just sucking him off because he makes tumblr mad. I don't know what to think anymore, but I just want some solid fucking evidence instead of just constant hearsay.

Just watch. There's going to be more VAs outed with allegations like these.

It always happens. And since a lot of these VAs are self-proclaimed pussy hat-wearing male feminists, you can guaran-fucking-tee that some of them have done some creepy shit to women.

EDIT: Also, the accusations of "homophobia" against Vic are 100% bullshit. I've seen zero evidence (in fact, there's COUNTER-evidence online, as you can easily find a video of Vic defending teh geys against some Westboro Baptist Church-esque jerks who were protesting at a con). Just because he thinks one of his characters isn't gay and just because he didn't want to sign some weird kinky fanart, he's a homophobe? Bitch, please.

Imagine if a degenerate male otaku brought a body pillow of his waifu and went to that character's voice actress to sign it. Or if he brought some kinky fanart of that character to the voice actress. People would be saying that the MALE fan was sexually harassing her (and, honestly, I wouldn't disagree because that would be a fucking weird thing to do). If a female fan does the same thing to a male voice actor? Well, in that case, the male voice actor is a piece of shit for NOT signing it, I guess!

Call me crazy, but if I were these fans, I'd feel weird about bringing my spank material and then ask for somebody to sign it.

Actually, he's a piece of shit for not signing it, but if he does sign it, he's a rapist, too. He has a penis, and therefore, he is a criminal.

I wonder if it would be sexual harassment if someone brought Stephanie Sheh some hentai DVDs she worked in to sign...

Thank goodness for people like Memology 101. The fact that people were using that girl's fan tribute as evidence is absolutely awful. Like how evil do you have to be?

I'm curious as to why all these VAs are on this #metoo shit now, if they claim hes been doing it for years. Did something happen or do they just hold a hateboner over this guy and just happened to flip on him now?
I feel the reason not many were open about Vic for years were due to contracts since Vic is a high profile VA and brings a lot of money in.

EDIT: I honestly think contracts from higher ups in the industry are probably the reason why so many of these types of accusations take a long time to surface.

That's fair, but it comes across as very odd when people like Monica Rial, acted all friendly when they weren't even inclined too, like their tweets and that gathering.
