My SO is an attorney and I asked him about this. I wanted to say that just so you know that I'm not about to pull this post out of my asshole.

Becky and AL are so, so goddamn stupid.

For defamation suits, the alleged slander must meet a number of requirements. Of course, all of these requirements aren't met, because MichaelBePetty's video isn't fucking slander. False statements need to be made as if they were true, and these statements need to be injurious (i.e. tangible damage was done to AL/Becky-- e.g. someone lost their job, their significant other broke up with them, etc. as a result of the false statements). Neither of those things have happened.

It literally takes a monkey to google this and realize that MBP's video isn't slander, but of course, that's too much effort for these tards.

AL, here's your free legal consultation from a legit barred attorney: you don't have a case here, and this lawsuit would be deemed frivolous in any court. Of course, you won't make it that far, because no reputable lawyer would ever take this case.
