Mine as well, but I'm hoping that it causes Susan not to go and get both kids taken away. I think the quacks may be the only ones left who will treat her kids, because the regular M.D.'S like UCLA and Kaiser won't touch her with a 10 foot pole. Either way, she won't get her precious dope.

To everyone moaning about the evaluation place being too woo woo and a scam: Susan won't get meds there. She will freak out. It will make for good TV. This was never going to help Bodhi, because the only thing that helps Bodhi is not living with his mother. Once Susan tweaks and goes doctor shopping/ gives more of Jani's pills to Bodhi, DCFS can step in and say she isn't following doctor instructions.

my hope is that Cody will be to preoccupied with himself to even give her all her meds or at least not the PRN stuff. I don't want her to be in pain through withdrawel but missing part of a dose or the PRN stuff could do her a lot of good.

I love it! I just read the "doctors" bios on the web page. NEITHER doctor can prescribe meds!! They're psychologists, not psychiatrists. Susan is going to flip!

They will tell you:

You have metal toxicity

You need to slow your breathing (okay this one is actually good advice)

Get up and dance

It looks like Dr Phil wants to make from Susan proper California tree-hugging crunchy granola girl. The only thing in common with her, er, "treatment philosophy" PNP has is skepticism regarding vaccination. Other than that it's something anti-Susan. It's guaranteed to make her go berserk.

FYI, clearly the PNP is a money-making scam. Any large university has an assessment clinic that could do a comprehensive evaluation and treatment plan for Bodhi such as this one https://www.waisman.wisc.edu/clinics/autism-dd/

The best thing that could come of this is that Susan doesn't follow the recommendations of chelation, walks in nature, and dancing with Bodhi. Hopefully then both kids are taken away by DCFS.

It sounds like this would be an atrocious place to send a seriously mentally ill child, but perhaps the perfect place to send Bodhi to make sure that psychiatrists cannot be lured into prescribing him more brain-melting drugs. Bullshit nature therapy won't induce seizures multiple times a minute in a healthy child.

I can't speak for how well their evaluation will go or what will happen afterwards, but so far, Susan has used any and all contact she has had with real doctors to weasel her way into more and more prescriptions for her children, so with Dr. Phil footing the bill, I'm not sure I'd complain about her being forced to confront some woo.

Couple things:

CA only has rules about separate rooms for kids if they are being fostered. Bio parents do what they want and need. Rent is high in this state.

Those worried about someone taking sexual advantage of Jani while Susan’s gone... are you under the impression Susan will protect her or something? If it’s going to happen, it will with or without Susan around. One of the aides could “take her for a walk” and Susan wouldn’t notice or care.

I still don’t understand why people are happy about this Dr. Phil outcome. He got his TV show in the can and a crazy lady will keep his ratings up. He was very careful not to mention his role previously. Now, he’s done, he’s made his $100k.

CPS has been aware all along and done nothing. . And a 2 day trip to Dallas to evaluate Bodhi for heavy metals..will change what?

Can anybody tell me a Dr.Phil show situation like this one with an abusive, mentally ill parent that was resolved by being on the show? That had a happy ending? Serious question as I don’t watch it.i see Dr Phil as completely exploitive and unhelpful to those in real need.

I’m not ready to pat Michael on the back either. He called a TV producer, not a lawyer. That was his big secret plan. He’s not working on gaining custody and doesn’t have a lawyer. The nicest I can be is to say he doesn’t seem to realize that television is about ratings and advertising dollars, and not helping people with major problems.

I hope I’m wrong and the plan is to take custody from Susan and give it to Michael. I have a strong suspicion Michael wants nothing to do with that idea.

CPS very rarely takes kids away from parents and puts them in the system, especially disabled kids. I think the most that can happen is Susan finds it difficult to find the meds she wants. Yet, as many know, there is always a way to get drugs. And it’s perhaps 4 months until it airs-time to keep looking for doctors. Cory’s stupid move to cancel insurance made it more difficult than this TV show will, I think.

I’ve watched the elation and optimism here and wish I could feel it. But I just don’t. What am I missing?

If I’m wrong, I’ll never be happier, I can tell you that much. I’ve been in this thread from the start and my heart breaks for those kids. I just don’t know what will change. Like I’ve said many times, the only guy capable of really fixing this isn’t doing it. He handed it off to a TV producer and went back to his life.

I think someone needs to ask Michael, do you want your kids with you or not. Could you get them settled in before the baby comes or not? Could you earn enough money or claim enough state welfare for them or not? Could you devote more time and love than Susan has to them or not?

He's trying but I think he's retreating back into old Michael ways and beating around the bush so to speak. I don't think he wants to admit that he can't have the kids right now, but I think once Jani is off meds she'd be less trouble to have around than Bodhi.

Maybe one of the leaks should ask him straight-up.

Just to clarify, I'm not talking street drugs as in opiates, amphetamines etc, I'm talking street meds really or just illegally obtained ones i.e from friends. She can't possibly have managed to hoard enough legally to do them such serious damage that it's become visible just by looking at the kids in such a short space of time. You never used to be able to tell Jani and Bodhi were speds but now you can see it just from a photo.

It's cumulative effect.

If you research the history of Thorazine/Chlorpromazine and it's equivalents, they were at the time hailed as "miracle drugs," pretty much the first that could allow schizophrenics ( and bear in mind the diagnosis itself was much wider) and those with psychotic episodes to be effectively treated and the conditions to be managed outside asylums.

It took much longer than the trials for the cumulative effects to show and when they finally did, the reckoning was severe - the "Thorazine Shuffle," the dystonia and the palsies were irreversible.

These are children who have been on insanely high doses and we don't understand the pharmacology of otherwise well-known meds in children (eg. ADHD meds which are uppers to adults having the opposite effect in children) let alone brutal, dirty anti-psychotics. I've said before about Screechy being in nice, clean Lamotrigine whilst stuffing fuckloads of filthy horrors down her kids necks. Meds which are only used in the most intractable cases, at the lowest doses possible and, if posdible, managed through depot or similar extended-release methods.

These children didn't need anything but the scripts their lunatic mother squeezed out of whichever doctors plus time. And even if all drugs are stopped, the damage is done now. No stockpiling, no black-market, no under-the-table, no Silk Road - what we are seeing play out is the dawning horror that played through the psych community when the miracle drugs turned out not to be.

Cory claimed to be a professional photographer at the time he was unemployed and met Susan; he apparently spent his free time between jobs taking photographs of people on the streets. They turn out to be incredibly creepy / stalker style, but this is the "reason" behind it. He even listed "Photographer" as his job on Facebook at the time we combed both that and his LinkedIn, early on in the thread. His "photographer" website, CoryCabana.com, led to a blank page.

That’s particularly hilarious because those photos show absolutely zero sense of composition, balance, aesthetic sense or artistic merit. Not to mention that on a technical level they are just potato photos taken on a shitty camera phone.

I guess like Susan realized anyone can call themselves an “advocate” Cory decided anyone with a camera on their phone could claim to be a photographer.

He posted a picture of his photos (apparently) mounted on the wall of a Starbucks in Washington. Seeing that the vast majority of photos he takes and posts are horrible unskilled shots, I don't understand why a Starbucks would exhibit his instead of some stock photo or random canvas from Target.
