Wow, that's crazy. Is Phil paying for it?

He's cutting it really close to Amy's birth at this point; I hope she has family around for support. Obviously these are extraordinary circumstances and Bodhi is in danger; I hope Amy is understanding of this (though most women would prefer to be nesting with their spouse at this point.) It's a bunch of difficult decisions right now, but Bodhi's life is in danger.

Ah, so Micheal is going. I’m surprised that’s not enough for Susan since she loves forcing Mike to interact with her. Poor Bodhi. I can’t imagine what Susan is and will do to him to trigger and torture him to get him act-up and freak out. She’s absolutely obsessed with drugging him and she would do anything to ensure he stays in zombie mode.

Looks like Michael's finally got his shit together and treating the situation with the urgency it needed. I've had a tolerate-hate relationship with him as this thread went on but I'm proud of him for finally stepping up. Good on him for finally getting his ass out there for the kids.

Hes understood for a while, it seems, but this really shows that he cares, rather than him just saying he does.

She loves being on TV, but she's never been in the hot seat before. She's trying to soften the blow for her ass kissers, who are expecting a similar update to all the sunny ones in the past. "Some controversy" is how she describes being called out for drugging her son into submission.

EDIT: I wonder why she's not advertising this ER visit; she usually posts to Facebook about hospital trips asap to lap up asspats. I doubt she's cagy enough to be purposely avoiding DCFS; did the show tell her to chill out with that shit? Is she not supposed to be med seeking before the evaluation?

Obviously she's not supposed to give Bodhi any medication according to his new doctor, but she hates that guy and will never go back to him.

IIRC they have a c-section scheduled so it should make it a lot easier to plan around. If she was expecting a natural delivery it would be a lot more difficult due to not knowing when the birth will happen, otho she will be in for a much longer recovery so Mike will not be available for several months after the birth.

Amy obviously married Mike understanding what a circus life with his ex was going to be and that his children were in danger. This is the first real chance they e had to prove Susan’s abuse.

Bodhi’s entire life and future is on the line. We’ve heard many of the issues are about money or lack thereof so this all expenses paid trip to have Bodhi evaluated is critical along with vital added pressure coming from the media and DCFS.

Mike has to make this a priority now because after the baby is born he’s not going to have the extra time.

The Center does evaluate home life and parental behaviors towards the child to make their report, but I think it’s limited in scope to the effects on the child. Not exactly a real full psychiatric evaluation of Susan’s mental problems but at least helpful in terms of assessing her being a negligent and abusive mother for DCFS.

It comes at the expense of his wife and unborn child.

This shitshow has been in high gear for weeks now, and one can assume Amy is getting tired of him running off to enable Susan.

Yeah, Susan is going to turn that into a shitshow. But hopefully having his dad with him on the flight will avoid Susan's unmitigated triggering of Bodhi (also, this way he will get on the plane). And, B can stay with Michael in his hotel room in Texas.

Unfortunately, Michael is going to be stuck on a 2-3 hour plane ride with his ex wife at her worst, whole she tries to harm both Michael and their son.

I feel for Amy, truly; she is caught up in a huge mess that she had little part in creating but also walked herself into willingly. Michael helped make this mess and now he needs to help clean that mess up. He doesn’t get to walk away from it just because he helped make a new mess that needs tidying.

Im thinking this must be a CA thing, i had CPS called on me after i was hospitalized for a psychotic episode and the doctor asked if i had kids. I never laid a hand on my kids, never neglected them or anything, just told the doctor i had kids. 2 days after i was discharged CPS were banging down the door claiming i’d been reported for child abuse. The doctor at this hospital (NE) told CPS that i had confessed to starving and neglecting my children as a result of my psychotic behavior. We had to have a full evaluation including interrogating family members about how we treat our kids. It was humiliating and terrifying the depths they went to to prove that i was a danger to my kids.

I get that and it sucks, its unfortunate he didnt fight this earlier and now there's going to be a new child added to the mix. There is so much at stake here that he cant afford to just sit and wait for a kid to be born. I dont know anything about Amy or having kids, but she has had a kid herself and knows what to expect. I'm not saying she can't be a bit selfish and want him there with her, I feel that's natural, but both her and the baby are healthy (as far as I'm aware) while his other kids are in danger. DCFS hasn't done shit so far, it's up to him to insert himself into the situation or it won't change. Amy can get tired of it all she wants but his ex is literally spiraling out of control and taking the kids with her. She married Michael, she probably got the crazy ex talk, shes lived through the crazy ex moments, she knows what Susan is capable of.

I know shes probably hormonal as shit right now but I feel that this is something she just has to work through.
