Like mom becoming a tyrannical overlord after they kill the dark sides leader. Not realizing the world needs both dark and light for balance. Bodi li is presumably dead since the last they saw him was around the time mom caused the orbs to self destruct thus taking planets with them. Mandaar takes the mantle as the new darkness king but isn't evil in fact what if he was just an anti-hero this whole time. The photon warriors create their own council and kingdom but are more anti-villain. Both sides create their kingdoms on whatever planets survived the apocalyptic event and although they fight they know their true enemy is mom who has her own empire of cyborgs and shit.
