I think their endgame may be sustainability rather than profit right now, since they're a start up. They have to look towards being able to sustain the platform. Since TRR's extra audience didn't pay off for the site and all the trouble they were causing, they've probably had to look elsewhere for funding.
People were hellbent on pushing the system to breaking point - we saw that when everyone swarmed DLIVE and couldn't stop for a single sec acting like a swarm of autistic bees yelling about the Jews. Having expectations for businesses above and beyond what's reasonable and expecting them to be completely altruistic, at the same time, is insanity.
