I have never heard of any drama between the Pokemon VAs when the recasts happened before.So,Veronica Taylor hates her replacement?Can you elaborate?

I'd love to be able to say he gets a pass on the lolicon shit because the left will protect him, but the truth is that there's a lot of people on the right who defend that shit because "muh liberty." That's 90% of why Louis Le Vau is a cow and has his own thread.

The sad conclusion I draw from all this is that not enough people really give a fuck about his lolicon fetish to make it an issue. I mean, idiots like TommyC didn't exactly offer a stellar rebuttal to his degeneracy.

Just the usual Twitter drama. Veronica Taylor (Ash's old VA) talked shit about the new VAs in general during the Pokemon anime's recast phase and Sarah Natochenny (Ash's current VA) is a little drama queen (and a known smoker) that took a lot of joy out of voicing Ash in the 20th movie, almost as if she was mocking Taylor and the fans of the OG series that were hoping she'd return to play the character and to bring back the feeling of nostalgia.

Interesting. I hadn't heard about this either; I know some of the voice actors were getting their fans riled up over the change of VAs, but I could've sworn Veronica gave Sarah (who's a Pokémon fan herself) her support back in the day. I just know that the people who "founded" SOVA (Save Our Voice Actors) were/are the most adamant about their hatred toward Sarah, and that Carter Cathcart claims (under his Bulbagarden account "old guard truthseeker") he's the best James.

This is bugging me. We've thrown around "If he sexually harassed you why didn't you go to the cops" comment but here's the thing that confuses me and this goes to voice actors and con people

The bit accusing Vic of changing lines really activated my autism for a number of reasons. It's, first of all, blatantly false. Any changes made to the dub script of FMA were purely for matching lip flaps and crap like that. This isn't the late 90s in which they had Vegeta claim Goku's father was a brilliant scientist. And even then, let's pretend that there were blatant rewrites of the FMA script. Mignogna had NOTHING to do with the script or translation.

The other reason is because I remember seeing a video of a panel Vic was doing years ago where he specifically talks about doing "blasphemous" dialogue. He notes that he isn't perfect and for example that he would say the lord's name in vain when FedEx is late on an important package, but that when it came to intentionally doing it for work he had personal problems with it. So what he did was he just apologized to god in advance that it was his character saying it. He had to be a professional since he was being paid to act and say those lines.

I tried to find the video for this post but I can't find it. And in searching for it, it reinforced my belief that his detractors are so full of it. There are literally dozens of videos ranging from recent to many years old about this specific topic alone with Vic going over the contradiction of playing a stout atheist character while being christian. Are you telling me people bothered recording him doing all these panels over the years but not a single person has him on film harassing or assaulting people? Give me a break. It should also be noted that whenever he's asked a more controversial or possibly inflammatory opinion he always asks the room if it's okay to answer. It blatantly contradicts the characterization that he's some devout trying to convert con-goers.

In conclusion, DigiBrony is a first class idiot and water is wet.

Even if we take everything at face value, even their own testimony fails to mention anything appropriate beyond giving a group of underage teens his personal phone number. Like others have mentioned, I think it's absolutely stupid to do so but beyond that nothing happened. He didn't groom anyone, he didn't make a pass, nothing.
He and his friends would share several group phone calls with Mignogna. Azure said at the time that it "felt validating and cool that he was giving us the time of day and attention." According to his account, the friends and Mignogna mostly discussed voice acting and the teens would request him to repeat lines.

But that's if the story is even true. We have to take the troon's word for it. There's no phone record that they show or link to. And the number isn't fully readable for everyone else to check for themselves. They also included a message presumably that you get from calling about the fan club which is irrelevant. It's a blatant misdirection.
