I wonder exactly when and why did this SJW troon obsession began? in the late 2000s early 2010s I don't remember any of this shit going on. Was it Tumblr's that started this shitshow?

Side Note: It will never stop being funny how those SJW/left leaning/female/minority dominated sites/places always act like straight white males are close minded to other viewpoints, "toxic" and "pathetic" when those same people are just as pathetic and sad.
The SJW obsession with trannies officially started June 27, 2015, the day after the Supereme Court made gay marriage legal in the US.

They literally couldn't wait 24 hours to find something new to bitch about.

Paul Graham wrote this back in 2004. It's still very relevant.

To launch a taboo, a group has to be poised halfway between weakness and power. A confident group doesn't need taboos to protect it. It's not considered improper to make disparaging remarks about Americans, or the English. And yet a group has to be powerful enough to enforce a taboo. Coprophiles, as of this writing, don't seem to be numerous or energetic enough to have had their interests promoted to a lifestyle.

I suspect the biggest source of moral taboos will turn out to be power struggles in which one side only barely has the upper hand. That's where you'll find a group powerful enough to enforce taboos, but weak enough to need them.

Well, if each sex has nothing unique to offer a child, then there must be no unique experience that men or women have in life. So we can safely end transgender support, as it clearly does not matter; your life will be the same whether you transition or not, and regardless of what pronouns people use at you!

Seriously, though, Crews got put through the gauntlet for talking about his sexual-assault experience (because you're a big strong man, you don't have the same experience as women, you could have just punched him), but now they've completely reversed course and his life experience as a man is in no way distinct from a woman's.

(Also, lol Nekomata rolled a Lalafell, the deviant. Midget fetish ahoy.)

I may have mentioned this before, but a "woke" tactic I've noticed is claiming that group A can never understand group B, as if the ways of group B are somehow magically too complicated and nuanced to group A to ever grasp, but not to group B, all because of identity.

For example, I've heard the claim that a white person can never understand the culture of a non-white country -- no matter how long they live there -- because of "muh colonialism" or something like that (while native children can easily grasp it growing up).

Another example is when the "woke" claimed Japan could "never understand racial dynamics in America" after outrage over perceived "cultural appropriation" of Japanese culture failed to cause outrage in Japan like it did among the American "woke."

Such an identity politics tactic is bullshit of course. It's just another way the "woke" are promoting division and prejudice -- whether they're aware of it or not.

Huh, weird. I have the same opinion as Terry Crews... I was honestly expected him to kick me in the nuts with his opinion and let's be honest that no one would survive a kick in the nuts from Terry Crews. It's been those kinds of years. It's amusing to me, though, that the freakout here is quite clearly a wonderful example of that malnourished care that Crews was talking about.

Biological sex is a social construct, sweetie. Along with gender. The transgender master race has defied our oppressive power structures and should therefore rightfully lord over everyone else.

I wonder, if a white person was born and raised in a non-white country, was part of the culture, could speak the language, etc. would muh imperialism colonialism still apply? If native children adopt it growing up than why would a white person fail to do so?

No no no. While all brown people are instant American citizens whether they want to be or not (see, e.g., trafficked slaves and children of border-crashers), white people can never be anything but European. Not even American, because the land was stolen from brown people!

Central to "woke" thinking is the idiotic notion that one is automatically responsible for the actions of fellow members of a "community" -- if that group is deemed "privileged," that is. If the "community" is deemed "marginalized," then suddenly it's prejudiced to think so.

Not sure to post it here or to the comicsgate thread, since it's Papi van Sciver's video, but DAMN if the tweets in it aren't creepy as fuck!

IMO, the reason it's important for a kid to have role models of both sexes while growing up (and like Crews said, they don't have to be the parents, just important figures in the kid's life) is because otherwise, the kid is going to fill the vacuum of knowledge about adults of the non-present sex with pop culture.

So many fatherless boys end up violent little assholes because they get the idea from pop culture that violence is way more common among full-grown men than it really is. It's glorified as central to the experience of manhood, and maybe in some cultures and times it is/was, but a man having been in one or more physical altercations after hitting the age of majority is a big dating red flag in the present western world.

Kids who've been raised fatherless also tend to have lower expectations for men in general in terms of doing things around the house and in general being an equal partner, because those relationships have never been modeled for them (even in a bad version where they said "I want to do better than my asshole parents").

None of this is to say that it's better to have a terrible parent (of either sex) than no parent of that sex, obviously, just that there are real consequences to that "malnourishment" when kids seek out whatever they can find to fulfill their unmet need for understanding of 50% of the population.

If I was that kid's parent, I'd be reporting him to an employee at the least. What the hell.
He's not even saying that same-sex parents are bad. Just that a kid with two moms could have a male role model in an uncle or granddad. Calm down, he didn't say anything anti-gay.
