THAT'S a somewhat cute asian chick, although just going by appearance she looks hapa. Her twitter seems to be actually focused on talking about anime as well instead of political shit, although I didn't go too deeply. I'd pay 3,000 to tour Japan with her tbh.

I love how these idiots think that Twitter and Youtube ToS are the laws by which the real world operates. If you use the legal remedies available to you when trial by social media ruins your life, suddenly it becomes "intimidation" and 'harassment".

There's an item in the GFM TOS that says you can't use a campaign to mount a legal defense in certain cases, but it seems to be tied to the defense of crimes against protected or semi-protected classes (gender, race, etc.). And even if the TOS lazily mentioned "intimidation" or "harassment," no intimidation of any sort is happening by the beneficiary of the funds (in this case, the IOLTA account it's connected to).

So, basically, don't commit a "hate crime" (as GFM defines it) and expect to pay your CRIMINAL defense attorneys using GFM. Otherwise, you're probably fine. Getting Vic's explicit permission, and connecting it to an IOLTA run by Beard et al., was smart on Nick's part.

Ron once again doesn't know what the fuck he's talking about.

That "in our sole discretion" part is a bit worrying, though, you know GFM is getting emails from dangerhairs right now.

So you can use GoFundMe to mount a legal attack on someone over hate crimes, but not a legal defense?

@Captain Manning Also it's pointless right now to say the money is somehow designed to support harassment (well it just in general is because that's the standard bullcrap excuse from SJWs) since Vic and his legal team haven't publicly announced what to make of the money other than it will be going to charity if a suit isn't made. Which makes me wonder, that Vic's side of things might have thought about this before but wanted to wait by the time the GFM was done and they pretty much have the money. Pretty shrewd if true.

It would be, under different circumstances, and they are.

But it also says crimes. This isn't a criminal defense. This is a civil action and Vic would be the plaintiff. GFM would really have to employ some stellar pretzel logic to shut this down. Plus, they're getting 5% of everything raised and I think this would have been shit canned by now if they were gonna do it.

So you can use GoFundMe to mount a legal attack on someone over hate crimes, but not a legal defense?

I'm saying there's nothing in the GFM terms that suggests you can't use a campaign to fund a tort action. The defense GFM is talking about is a criminal defense.

The GFM is being run through an actual legal team and Nick has talked to the company. They would be fools to bow to dangerhairs. That and the tos applies to Criminal defenses, not Civil, and Vic is the plantiff.

I love how quickly they've gone from "bring it on" in response to the prospect of being sued to "you're harassing us".

That's not how it works Soy Toye. I think he's been taking legal advice from Shane.

This moron should consult a real lawyer. PULL and Twitter soylaw experts are not going to help him.

Man this thread is moving so fast. Is twitter making people retarded? It seems to destroy common sense and reason but seriously these people can't grasp a simple thing like shut the fuck up already the lions of vics law firm are coming. Some of the screens even have people telling the kickvic idiots to lawyer up and shut up. Trying to get those woke points from twitter is not going to help them in a court of law. It's going from amusing that someone is acting this dumb, to actually feeling sorry for their ass for being this retarded.

I'm pretty sure it would be courteous, if not ethical, of Ty to contact Soye beforehand to let him know about the legal deep dicking he's going to receive, and that Twitter was the best avenue of approach because he can't stop ranting and raving on there. Really though, it's not about intimidation, it's about getting him to realize that he should start taking this seriously because this is quickly stepping out of the realm of petty internet beef.

Ah, who am I kidding? This dipshit probably thinks not showing up to court is a great idea.

Man this thread is moving so fast. Is twitter making people exceptional? Yes, it's basically encouraging "popcorn brain" in extremis, where one thought to the next lasts a whopping 5-10 minutes. If they'd actually thought things through after getting Vic Kicked they'd have buttoned their fucking mouths and simply let it blow over after a week or two.

They didn't.

They hounded and bayed for blood only to find the water already full of chum from every other fucking moron that's tried this tactic before them over the past 5 years.

THIS JUST IN...

Ron has shit taste in women outside of Monica! Film at 11.

  2. GILF, ok. I can see it, but she's rather devoted to her husband of (now) 21 years.

I'm pretty sure some of the people telling them to lawyer up actually support Vic. They're so incredibly retarded that their own opposition feels obligated to try to help them get real legal advice. Let that sink in.
goddamn this thread is moving fast.
Watching so many people set themselves on fire when real legal consequences are unfolding is a sight to behold.
