I didn't get to see all of it, so I'll probably be rewatching/listening to last night's stream in a bit. But man it was nice seeing Nick go off the last two streams. I especially love all the extremely exceptional fallout from it, where the insane fucks on the #KickVic side, despite pretty much spending all of their time from what I've seen bashing the living shit out of Vic, Nick, Ty, and any rando involved in the defending side, openly voicing their complete disdain and hatred for their side the entirety of this controversy, and basically crying out whatever they want to, suddenly now taking offense that someone on the opposing side, in this case Nick, is doing the SAME FUCKING THING and getting so tired of the bullshit that he's just full on expressing his angry opinions with a dash of proper legal advice.
Motherfuckers, you've been doing it too. You just spout off at the fucking mouth whatever the fuck you want and expect no consequences, but the MOMENT someone on the other side starts speaking with more emotion than a goddamn robot it's super fucking yikes, am I right?
This is exactly like that time I had an argument with a few people during the Kavanaugh controversy, where I was told by two or three people that Kavanaugh getting emotional in front of the camera showed that he was not fit to be a Supreme Court Justice and he's not worthy of the position for that alone, and that he could very likely be committing perjury on the stand.
I asked "What about the bitch who's likely throwing super false allegations his way?" and got told "Well, she's not the one becoming a Supreme Court Justice.", and when I asked "So you expect Justices to be literal robots, right?" I actually got the response "They should be fully impartial, yes". I vaguely recall closing that argument with "If you really believe that then you're never gonna be happy until we get AIs in the court rooms buddy".
Seriously. There are few things that set me off in life more than that fucking mindset that if your enemy, your opposition, is responding to you with anything more emotional than a candid and soft-spoken response, they are in the wrong or have lost on virtue of that act alone, ESPECIALLY when you do the same shit, expect no blowback from it, and get offended when you get it.
Keep it the fuck up, Wreck-It-Rekieta. I love you even more for actually being a proper human being. It makes me genuinely mad a bit, but at the same time I fucking love seeing these people go "Yikes, Rekieta has emotions, lawyer man bad!" like the puppet NPCs they are.
