Nick has had a million opportunities to turn into a cow and has resisted all of them. He has even managed to distance him self from Zoom while still keeping close to Ralph and Andy, a man who's good that good at navigating a social situation won't turn into a cow.

Nick also has something else that's pretty antithetical to turning into a cow - a real life. If you have a brain it's pretty obvious from the way he runs shit on his streams that while he's having a good time, he's definitely here for the superchats.

Never say never. I thought the same about a lot of people before Nick. At this point I'm conditioned to just enjoy people like Nick in the moment.

He was clearly intending to entrap him, which is in clear violation of basic ethical principles
"Entrapment" is a when a law enforcement officer entices someone to commit a crime which they would not have otherwise committed. Tricking someone into admitting guilt is not "entrapment", is not unethical, and it wouldn't matter even if it was, because Nick is a lawyer, not a law enforcement officer. Lawyers don't have the same exact ethical rules as law enforcement officers have.
Nice gun safety, stupid
I thought she took the clip out. Although I know even if it doesn't have a clip it should be treated as loaded at all times.
It was sloppy gun handling to be sure, but she actually did later say that it wasn't loaded (she took the clip out to show that it wasn't) and furthermore it's never loaded in the office, because their office shares a building with a bank and she said she doesn't think it would be a good idea to bring a loaded gun in. Also, completely aside from the bank, they were drinking wine and couldn't have had a loaded gun nearby while doing that.
On what grounds? Lawyers don't get disbarred unless they fuck around with client money or lie in their capacity as an officer of the court. Nick is a blowhard and a bit of a sperg, but there's nothing on his livestreams even approaching cause for disbarrment.
Well yes, because random people on the internet always know more about legal ethics than actual lawyers do. Didn't you know? (See also above.)

I like Nick, and I really hope he doesn't drink too deeply from the cup of IBS. Luckily, he seems to have a level head on his shoulders, and a stable career outside of youtube, so hopefully he'll know better than to go down that road.

He sets pretty firm limits on how much he drinks, even with super chats egging him on to drink more. He's definitely overdone it a few times but his relationship with alcohol seems pretty okay.
only time ive seen him get real drunk was when he had his cop rant at his relatives house.

In presenting his channel as an interview, he takes on the role of an objective observer, and is supposedly free of bias. One of the key tenets of being non biased is to provide someone you dislike with the opportunity to present a cogent defense, and you can't really do that when you've provided somebody with about a second of notice. And it's clear he was trying to do that because he spent about 20 minutes trying to get Tonka to say he'd speak with Andy. It shows that he was planning to run with this.

The non Christian part is the retribution for somebody wronging you bit, which Rekieta and his defenders consistently bring up as justification. And yes, a massive amount of Catholicism fundamentally deviates from Christs and Saint Paul's vision of Christianity, including what you just mentioned.

As for him changing his approach, how far have you gone back? I was mostly referring to him increasingly taking on non legal topics and focusing on drama. Sooner or later this shit will get to him too, just like it did Ralph, Warski, and the rest of IBS. Sooner or later some speed will start trolling him into insanity
Just gonna point out that Donga thanked Nick for inviting him at the end of this stream. Not only that Nick practically had to shoo him away so that he could go to bed. TL;DR: Donga is a cuck who thanks people for cucking him.

I've been out of the loop, who's this Ron Toye moron that Nick appears to be threating to sue?
How far out of the loop are you? Are you familiar with the #KickVic/#AniMeToo/Weeb Wars situation? If so, Toye is Jamie Marchi's fiancé.

I don't know if his head is on the chopping block as much as Marchi's is, but he's been tweeting in defense of her, and, like her, is in denial that The Beard is actually going to serve her papers.

He's not. Ron is the fiance of Monica Rial, who might be getting sued and Nick is laughing at the fact that Ron won't shut the fuck up despite knowing lawyers are on the case. Like the lawyers could legitimately get him to testify against his own fiance with the way he's been running his mouth. This lawsuit currently in the making has been a trip https://kiwifarms.net/threads/weeb-wars-animegate-kickvic-vickicksback.53670/

Never say never. I thought the same about a lot of people before Nick. At this point I'm conditioned to just enjoy people like Nick in the moment.

That's my thought as well. Streaming and youtube seem to either attract soon-to-be cows or turn people into them. Someone mentioned Leonard French earlier- I think he'll go full-cow before Rikieta. He's already shown a bunch of glimpses of it and has a history of having bizarre stuff happen 'to' him that other people wouldn't and seems to think carrying a gun is going to always get him out of trouble. Plus injecting his family into internet dramas (I'm thinking about the Alex Mauer situation). Haven't seen that sort of general nuttiness with Rekieta but he does seem to like drama and is willing to get involved in it closer than most people who have 'real' careers (I don't know if this is current but for awhile it sounded like he was winding down his law practice to try and do more streaming stuff which... seems pretty risky)

But if he stays relatively stable and is just an informative source for some legal aspects and entertaining outlet for people who don't want to read our autism but want to hear about Russell Greer, that's great. Plus there's always the chance some idiot will try to initiate spurious legal action against him like they do against non-lawyers and that would be a treat.

She took the magazine out not the clip. A clip is used to “charge” magazines and haven’t been used for pistols since about WW1. For reference.

Gun shit aside, I liked the stream and would like to see him live stream his anime convention panel.

@blueprints French is an absolute drama whore and I don't have a lot of respect for him. I haven't watched him in like a year because I got tired of his constant crying and it seemed like he was just trying to turn things into his personal online hugbox. Honestly he reminds me of boogie. He's either an emotional train wreck or trying to be a victim for ass pats and e-bucks, or both.

The last video of him I even tried to watch was his Christmas video where he was sitting with his sadquatch looking gf who I couldn't tell if was actually a dude in a dress, or just very ugly. That was an absolute cringe festival

What I'm gonna bet is that Nick's gonna have a much, much longer shelf-life that a lot of people who get into streaming, and it's probably because he's already got a career as a lawyer and doesn't really need to do this youtube thing to pay his bills. Dude's got a wife, like five kids, a house, and his own business. Youtube is just a hobby for him, and until he makes the smooth-brained idea to turn that into his main source of income, he'll be fine.

Two houses, methinks.

Nick's pretty well set and stable on all fronts.

Yeah, that was a good one. Nice rage-to-info ratio on it. Too bad those who really could use that info are choosing to ignore it.

For those not following the Weeb Wars thread, here's Rekeita's CONmunity stream for today. I haven't seen it yet (today's a busy IRL day for me) but they're saying in that thread that it's another good one.

In the YT description:

Oh, hey, Nick's podcasting his streams now? Is that new?

Anyway, I presume this is going to be the same document that he talked about on last night's stream and also sent to Null?

He's done that for months now, they are about a month behind though. I don't think it's for jew-y shekel reasons, I'm guessing its that he has about 6 more kids than is reasonable to have a life.
