Man, Nick's stream has a significant amount of background noise. It makes me wonder exactly where this con is set up?

Pull and Resetera are definitely starting to slow down and seem to be suffering from outrage fatigue. In the past these incidents would have a neatly defined "outrage arc"; the pile on begins, the shame is applied and everybody washes their hands of it - walking away with mutual asspats over a job well done, another bigot ruined and justice applied. I think it's finally starting to sink in that this storyline isn't turning out that way.

The post below from Reeeeland really sums it up nicely.

"I know right? I just want this all over with already. As I've said before, it's DigiHom with Jim Sterling all over again, but worse because it isn't just someone getting pissy about bad reviews, it's someone getting pissy they got rightfully called out on being a creep. And just like then, it'll end with nothing but wasted money and time for his accusers and Vic being left with nothing except to do evangelical audiobooks/webtoons and random anti-SJW-made games.

Using the legal system to "try to salvage his career" rather than actually trying to change himself will just make him unhireable. And we've all already said many times how no matter who he's targeting, he accomplishes nothing for HIMSELF.

There is nothing he can do to save himself. At best (for him) he ruins the career of his accusers in turn... but what does that accomplish for HIM, if he's as good a guy as he claims? That just puts him down in the history books as vindictive. But we all know he has no proof "beyond the shadow of a doubt" that any of his big name accusers are lying.

Also sorry if I'm posting too much, I'm feeling really anxious about this today for some reason, lol....'"

This isn’t how this is supposed to work! We had him defamed to the point of suicide fair and square! How dare they start Lawfare, that just destroys everybody the way they did to him! That’s not fair! He’s supposed to be more Christian than that!

ROFL!

They really don’t see the change in the wind, do they?

Which I find quite funny that no one has really stuck to their guns before. I mean if the target has done some reading on the #metoo dog piles they would know that lying down would be a death sentence. Try to fight you might just win.

In the past the target has always been part of the in group who followed the Social Justice rules. But suddenly they are finding people in the real world don’t belong to their kangaroo court cult of mean girls. Vic and Richard Meyer are great examples of outsiders not putting up with their shit. And they are freaking out.

I swear, even if Vic turns out to be innocent, the idiots over on PULL would still see him as a rapist. They are just delusional.

And this is why Vic’s damages will be obscene. Enough to retire on several times over. Some of them will be working hard every day for the rest of their lives to pay for Vic’s retirement. Vic can show a credible case that he was singled out and targeted for deliberate malicious defamation specifically for his Christian Faith. Their own postings make the case. Every time you see “Homophobic” in the claims.

Don't you just hate it whenever the person you follow are on the KickVic side let alone a Vic story

And it's a mongo-tier "my uncle was raped by Vic while he was working at Nintendo" story.

Every time you see “Homophobic” in the claims.

If you look at how their fake stories evolve over time, remember refusing to sign gay child porn is now "homophobia."

Nicks streams for that convention have been great. He's presenting facts in a rational, professional way and stressing the importance of reporting these allegations to the authorities rather than spamming them across social media. If any detractors are looking for points to smear him with, he's giving them nothing. Vic couldn't have found a better face for presenting the facts of his case.

I haven't watched the full stream yet, but it sounds like he had a pretty good crowd this time.

With how sexual harassment has its meaning changed for this case im skeptical.

Yeah. "HE CALLED ME 'SWEET CHEEKS" REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE SEXUAL AHARASSMENT!! BAR COMPLAINT!!"

What kills me is how much this sort of shit actually devalues sexual harassment. When your boss backing you up against a wall and grinding his crotch into your hips is counted on the same level as "Sweet Cheeks" in stupid peoples' minds, there's a huge fucking problem.

These people severely misunderstood Vic's faith and how he sees Jesus.

Here's a video of him talking about it, specifically starting at 1:30. He talks about how tough Jesus was and how Jesus stood up to those who tried to control others through guilt and fear. His talk here is scarily appropriate to what he's going through right now, just replace "religious leaders" with "social justice gatekeepers".

Ty Beard said Vic is tougher than people give him credit for and I'd wager that's true.

Took some screenshots since that thread is lock now. They're still defending Marchi's "I want his balls" tweet. And goes as far as to mock people who donated to the GoFundMe

Note, these are staff. These are user voted individuals that run the community. They aren't randoms, they aren't outcasts, they are celebrated members. When I said these idiots were exceptional amongst exceptionials I meant it.

I haven't watched the full stream yet, but it sounds like he had a pretty good crowd this time.

There seems to be a distinct lack of dangerhair screamers wanting to make a scene or maybe that crowd is "boycotting" the panel. There really weren't many questions from the crowd at all. Anybody wanting to challenge the narrative might feel intimidated by posing questions to a real life lawyer as well.

Let me ask a question that no one on the KickVic side has answered. Why would the accuser be the one to insist on going to court? I don't know but has any other celebrity that has been caught with sexual misconduct ever insisted to go to court before the victim did?

Not a celebrity, but Brad Wardell of Stardock took an ex employee to court when she accused him of sexual harassment. She lost, had to write an apology, and people to this day still think he did something wrong. Even after the articles talking about the case and the apology.

The last place someone guilty wants to be is court. There might be some cases otherwise, like you're vastly wealthy and suing for libel in the UK. In general, no, though, you don't want to go to court if you're guilty as hell.

Someone innocent who has been accused and whose life has been ruined though? Yeah, that guy wants to go to court.

This puzzled me too
They keep saying "it's not happening" then "but even if it is happening he's going to lose because muh 25 victims"
If it's so easy of an open and shut case then why is HE the one taking THEM to court? Shouldn't he be scared? Shouldn't he NOT want to go to court?
Their thought process is lost upon me

That's because the real crime is being male. And the standard is guilty when accused, even after proven innocent you're still guilty.
