He's said many times that he just wants to keep what he has, and I think there's a kernel of truth there if you take into account that he's including a certain amount of purchasing power that allows him to splurge on whatever frippery that catches his eye. He lives a very soft lifestyle on which he refuses to compromise and so I'm sure he doesn't get nervous until his monthly squeezing doesn't yield the blood he's looking for.

That and, y'know. He's lazy as fuck. What, you expect him to squeeze harder?

I hate it when he starts that "I just wanna keep what I've already got!" bullshit, to try and turn himself into a victim rather than a greedy twat. He had to borrow money and take out a shit load of loans to "get what he currently has" - it can be argued he doesn'ttechnically own it himself (yet). This is most noticable with his mortgaged houses, and the fact that if he doesn't pay his mortgages and debts off, then they'll repo his shit.

Phil, your constant living beyond your means got you into this shit, it's disgusting how much you make it sound like the world is purposely trying to screw you over. You reek of paranoia and self-entitlement.

I genuinely believe he's a vulnerable narcissist (on top of being a colossal twat).

Also predicting that if he doesn't get enough public donations for his "taxes", he's either gonna claim some secret fan "donated" the money to him, or else he had to beg his parents to help him out (and dood, they're really ill and had to spend their savings to help him out and now they can't afford their bills for their old age syndrome!) so please donate so he can take care of them.

I really wish someone would ask him how he plans to pay off next years taxes.

And the best part of the Tip Shaming® is: people almost always react to it by throwing money at him. It really seems like he has between 30 and 60 diehard supporters who take up the task of making sure there's something being done at least once per stream to keep him (semi-)happy. But yeah, a message like "here's some money to raise your spirits a bit" basically says enough about the state DSP is in nowadays.

Here's a clip of him mentioning it's a slow stream again during the latest Co: MW Remastered stream - it feels like he's been doing that at least once during almost every stream for the past 7 days straight, btw - including the tip + message.

His theory about why things have be s l o w for some time now:
View attachment 689562

"Maybe some people are saving up because they know those events are coming this month to help with my taxes next month. That'd be great, if that's the case."

Or perhaps they're saving up for their own taxes - after all, this is a stream for mature adults... :stress:

he wants to keep things he shouldnt have gotten in the first place. a big expensive home,a bmw,etc

he abused the ad revenue and view money by spamming 10 minute videos for maximum profit
now it doesnt work and he struggles to scrape by

any sensible human would sell off a house they cant afford(especially if the house is worth way way more)

You’re missing the point. They still feed him money. He doesn’t care what anyone thinks of him as long as they give him money.
you are missing the point. point is even his biggest paypigs dont like him, im not talking about money. he does care when it make people leave or worst become <detractors>
look at austin mink. that 500$ tip guy. he left. supposedly got more mature and realize phil wasnt really a good guy

My streams will start and end an hour earlier until the Fall, so yeah, every day will be an hour earlier now. So I know what's going to happen: tomorrow I'll start earlier and no one will be here in the morning, no one will know that it changed, and then I'll end and people will ask me why I'm ending an hour earlier. SNAKE LAUGH"

Yeah... no shit, if you explain it like that.

What a gigantic dumbass. :story:

I think this is proof that Dave's main viewerbase comes from the EU.
His streams will start an hour earlier for us Eurofags until it switches to Summertime here too (on the last sunday in March)
So I bet that this was him, talking to his (European) viewers.

His second stream still starts in the middle of the night for europeans though, so they pretty much sleep through it. First stream doesn't matter, it's at late afternoon/evening so why would these changes even matter at all?

Even his first stream starts too late... gameplay from 7:30 to midnight. Second stream is like from 3am or something, unwatchable for a normal person.

Watch the clip again, and you'll notice that:

1. At no point he specifies who he's talking to, giving the impression he's talking to his whole audience in general (he changes the subject directly after the clip ends, there's no missing part). So if you're in the U.S. and you move the clock forward one hour like a normal person while DSP keeps yelling about his streams starting an hour earlier, that's only making things more confusing - the exact opposite of what he's trying to accomplish. If he had said he was talking to his EU audience, then it would've made sense. But he didn't, making it unnecessarily complicated.

2. He specifically said his streams will be starting an hour earlier on Sunday and that it's going to be that way "until DST ends", "until Fall". That's direct evidence he has no idea what the fuck he's talking about: if he's talking to U.S. folks, it's only making things more confusing because starting from Sunday pretty much everyone in the U.S. will be on DST. If he's talking to EU folks, it doesn't make sense either because DST will start there as well, but only a couple of weeks later. So he's talking out of his ass either way.

3. He mentions that "we still do it here in the United States for whatever reason", which makes it seem like he somehow thinks other countries have stopped doing it, probably caused by the fact DST starts at different dates in other parts of the world. He likely just did a quick and sloppy Google search while sipping on his 5th glass of gin of the night, read 2 lines of text and drew his conclusions. Bugged time mechanics, dood.

DSP is a weird man.

That's why he only gets 200 viewers on the second stream, but 400-600 on his first.
His first stream starts at a prime EU-time (gameplay around 8-9 pm), while his viewers from the US are still at work/school .

On the other hand, his second stream would be perfect time wise for the US, but he still gets way less viewers than on the first stream.

This was exactly what I meant.
He thinks that there is no time change in the EU and his streams will start there "one hour earlier" until the fall where the time reverts back in the US.

EDIT: Sorry, don't know how to merge my posts @actually @Haunter

So what you’re saying is... Europeans are more gullible and pathetic than Americans?

Ah, like that, yes. Maybe that's why he didn't specify who he was talking to: he probably just assumes that, just like him, literally everyone else thinks the EU doesn't have DST anymore, so he doesn't "need" to specify and people automically know what in the world of fuck he's talking about.

Imagine tuning into the stream and only catch the last 20 seconds of his dumb rant:

You'll be confused as fuck. :story:

Haven't we seen examples of DSP freaking the fuck out if his audience gets too high? In the video I posted above about UFC3, he ranted against the extra "300 viewers" assuming they were all trolls that came by to watch him look bad. He's done that more than once saying that anything about 500-600 are either viewbots or trolls send by Tevin.

Wasn't there at least one instance where he got a legit hosting so his viewers went close to 1000 and he immediately ended the stream?

Only someone like Phil could freak out over having too many viewers while streaming.

The detractors have been living rent-free in his head for so long that I think he's at the point where he knows that he has 400-500 loyal viewers, and he's convinced himself that anybody "extra" must have been sent by either Tevin, detractors in general, or by people making hate videos.

He's garnered 500 loyal viewers over a 10 year begacy? Oof...

I'd imagine that with the mods treating anyone new as a potential detractor, his boring commentary, shit gameplay, terrible singing, constant begging, wet snorts, horrible laugh, cutbacks to content, and overall being a toxic PoS - his audience won't grow at any kind of pace in the near future.
