Governmentally, their policies are failures that flush billions down the toilet for no benefit. California is fucked at the current rate and NYC is a hair's breadth from complete economic insolvency. You fuck up that hard, the Fed's going to have to straighten the mess out, and if they do, it won't be the way California wants. The solution on the part of the Progressives? Flee to outlying areas and try to introduce the same socialist policies, but people are wise to this shit now and you're watching the political equivalent of when NeoGAF burnt down and even GameFAQs told them to conform or fuck off, and while there's a few areas that are going to become new Progressive hugbox territories, the rest of the country will just keep turning more and more red.
The establishment Dems are already trying to put down the likes of Ocasio-Cortez because even the establishment Dems, the most cucked group of people in government, realize that they're never going to win another election until they come back to the center, and they're risking having what's left of the party overrun by insane communists who have no compunction about running roughshod over their own, much as Brianna Wu tried to do.
Every media form they infest becomes a fucking disaster that is completely unable to turn a profit. Their movies aren't even successful in China, which most US movies are made for now. The Chinese even have a term for woke movie elites - Baizuo - and don't patronize woke movies. This is a problem for both Sony and Disney because they've recently shit out bomb after bomb after bomb to try to push an agenda, and they've all been dismal failures. Sooner or later, the piper - in this case the shareholders - has to be paid. Disney might be able to write off the entirety of Marvel Comics but there's only so many times one can flush hundreds of millions down the toilet and blame it on white men.
Platform-side, there's talk of the government regulating Twitter, Google keeps pushing Youtube towards being completely nonviable to anyone but the very same people who bankrupted network television, and alternatives are starting to gain traction. While most of them are still small now, and the big guys are going to do everything possible to crush them outright, especially via payment processor shutdowns, some are finding work-arounds and there's been a push to close the legal loophole that allowed this shit in the first place. They're making it so action has to be taken, and competition becomes inevitable, and while a lot of it is going to get way worse before it gets better, the momentum's fully against 'em now.

As I stated prior, Vic deserves to have his day in court to clear his name if he can, and if he can't, then fine, he should pay for whatever actual offenses have been exposed in open court in a manner proscribed by law. If he's innocent, then he deserves appropriate restitution for damages to his good name and any false accusers should be punished accordingly.
That all said, I'm still leaning heavily on the latter half of the above statement because of the following:

- We have yet to find ONE completely credible accusation that would stand up in court without evidence to disprove it.
- Hardly anyone making the accusations is willing to name names, give exact time and place details, and/or is recalcitrant to prove their accusations in court.
- We have numerous anonymous corroborating accounts, none of which are willing to give exact details actually proving anything.
- All the accusers thus far have a million holes in their credibility, and the more they talk, the more their credibility is weakened by further contradictions.
