With the site settling down to normal conditions, the torrents going strong and everything being stable, I think now is the time to unbottle some of my thoughts on this. I haven't really said much at all since it went down.

What is pretty shocking about this guy is that I think he pulled off the shooting a lot of people think about. A lot of /pol/ posters probably imagined something exactly like this. A manifesto with intentionally misdirecting language, casting blame on people arbitrarily for humor value, featuring an upfront thesis explaining exactly what intent is in black-and-white before writing a bunch of nonsense you know will be quoted out of context as ammunition by ideologues. A little something for everyone. Everyone's happy (or rather, happy to be angry) with what they feel is a silver bullet towards rivalries.

The same day, the government plans to disarm people further. The government begins to censor people. ISPs crack down on Internet access trying to find the videos. YouTube, Twitter, Reddit, Facebook especially have egg on their face. All of these platforms are going to promise to 'do more' and fuck over innocent people trying to enjoy the Internet. Sterilize things more. Make it less accessible.

The whole point is to make people hate each other, drive retaliatory action, give media exactly what they want so they frenzy over it, give platforms a reason to be even more advertiser friendly, all while turning the act of murder into nothing more than another meme with references to shit all his old Internet friends know and love already - because he was 'one of the boys' and he definitely at least knew of me, if only indirectly through my work on 8chan. We all speak the same language of stupid bullshit Journalists don't understand.

What he wanted to do was make the world a little bit worse than it was when he was free, and he accomplished that. Make the Internet such that it is no longer a pacifier in the mouths of tens of millions of adult children. Make things so fucking boring that getting up, going out, and killing people is more entertaining than spending another second on Twitter dot fucking com.

He realizes there's a bunch of Muslims in Indonesia converting to Christianity, right? Religions are often in flux.
Yes, he does. That's why he targeted the gathering places of white traitors and immigrants who don't assimilate. Christians, especially Christian converts, double especially Christian converts from Islam, don't attend Muslim services.

He got a Saudi citizen subject for fuck's sake, and another is wounded but will probably make it (sadly). Anyplace where Saudi subjects are welcome is an islamist cloaca.

And before that, rotten dot com, and before that, stileproject. And before that, Usenet binaries groups and ftp directories on sites where the people who owned the computers didn't even know they were there.
Yeah. It really is a case of "You Can't Stop the Signal". It seems kind of ridiculous to even try.

Yeah that's pretty on the nose. I think the thing that was most sobering to me was listening to Initial D and "God is a Serb" like so many /k/ and /pol/ memesters. This isn't the Dylan Roof or synagogue shooter who took it all seriously and took /pol/ at face value. This is was a pretty normal dude, who lived surrounded by these harmless Yugo turbofolk and remove kebab memes, and just said fuck it, and shot the shit out of some muzzies for the express purpose of being an asshole and making more memes. It's sobering that this could've been any one of millions of other military-aged-males that behave this way. This guy isn't crazy. He isn't deluded. He isn't mentally ill. this guy is totally coherent and pretty fucking normal, which just further drives home the point that this has become the new normal. Political violence and mass murder for fucking memes is now a part of our political discourse.

Hes fully Chad. They are saying here he was a lone gunman and it was him who did both places, Why didn't he stream the second one I wonder. They arrested some poor camouflage enthusiast outside a school who had nothing to do with it. so many sullied memes from this fucked up situation.

White people converting to Islam isn't even an issue, shouldn't he be ranting about atheism or some shit

What do you mean by "it isn't even an issue"?

I just find it interesting that people act as if a White guy going nuts and killing Muslims has happened in a vacuum. When we've had 18 years of this stuff. It's gone on so long, Radicals have been able to recruit foreigners as soldiers and wives and organize mass beheading videos.
Exactly. Living in a Euro country and seeing multiple 16 year-olds go off to fight in a foreign war much like orwell did in Spain really impressed on me that the conflict was only going to grow, as did the numerous terror attacks across Europe, as did the subtle changes to big European cities of putting concrete blocks everywhere to prevent truck attacks.

Every time I see them I reflect on how things have changed.

I finally watched the vid of the first shooting and I stand by this statement:

For one, it's cute you think this man had friends. He was a very lonely guy, who couldn't discuss his actual concerns with anyone who wasn't an extremist, either for fear of being labeled a social pariah or because anyone else he talked to hand-waved and pilpul'd his concerns.

For another, Islam isn't a race. It's also a religion that has been a thorn in the side of people who genuinely want the world to be a better place for 1400 years now. The problems we're having that this guy actually had a point about regarding it's inability to coexist with western values are neither new nor some form of racial hatred. This is a man whose politicians ignored, his fellow countrymen vilified, and the rational side of the internet turned their back on.

We need to be able to have a conversation in the general public about what Islam is, why it is a problem, and how it's incompatible with our values as westerners. Putting a lid on the boiling concern does nothing but cause it to boil over.

unbelievably informative and a very welcome post about how LEO's work

I'd have thought that they'd get access from the ANZUS or Five Eyes shit. Makes me wonder what the point of it even is tbh.

Standard ZOG tactics are to claim opposition to White genocide is based on "fear of the future" and to demonise the resistance as losers.

Look, I don't believe in a grand jewish plan or anything. What I do believe in are facts, like the Kalergi plan, the document "We Thought They Were White" by Montell Jackson and other such media that are censored nowadays.

The problem with "jews" has always and will forever be the fact that the ones who play into the stereotype are the rich fucks who have no connection nor concern for Joseph Schlomo who's some average guy that runs a bakery. A favorite question of mine for people who think all jews are "in" on some kind of conspiracy is to ask them "how many rich jews do you think died in the holocaust?".

Idpol is not the same as war games with nukes, certainly not with the current demographic trends.

Nobody wins from his action besides those who use chaos, I agree with that part. But if idpol isn't used there is no demographic ability for nations to retain white leadership and with that little chance to retain white populations, in the long run.

Just the other day there were two jews on msnbc talking about the fact that the meaning of "white" will shift and we will start to think of brown people as white, which is pretty much in line with the predictions made in praktischer idealismus about 6 decades ago and is in line with the recently screencapped image of the splc having a non-hispanic-white % per decade for US and white % per european country by the desk.

I think you were saying the same thing, so I thought I expand for the couple of people that think "idpol is always bad".

People learn from mistakes. The common one that is so ungainly misused is that of "races" that aren't white and how they relate to the ability to build civilizations.

Now I'm not ignorant of how lost a cause Africa and it's people are, and how lengthy the excuses for that are, but if we're going to get into the talk of "white" people taking the steering wheel of a nation and it's benefits, let's not forget that:

The fourth amendment to the constitution has been all but ignored in the modern age.
The sixth amendment has been ignored since before the invention of the fucking lightbulb.
As far as the rest in the bill we have an almost literal "seven ate nine" dissipation of our rights.
The second has gone by the wayside in nearly half of the country, which is literal Ivory Tower fucks imposing their ideals upon the rural (and semi-rural) populace.
The first is being circumnavigated by all means possible.

All while whites were in control. This problem has an answer, and it isn't murdering randos, even as much as I'll be ready to admit that if the circumstances were switched the victims would be nothing but joyous at the news.

We, being all people of any free society, need to stop this cornering of distasteful ideas, lest it be the downfall of our normally peaceful societies. This guy was driven to extremism because he saw no other way to affect change in the world, and nobody with an honest and clear observation of what's transpired can say otherwise.

Perfectly said @Null. I don't know if you can or could even be bothered watching all the shitty news outlets from here in N.Z but A LOT is being said about censorship of the net and everything else in your post. I think this event could be to the internet what 9/11 was to air travel. And NZ is a perfect place to test something like this. They test heaps of shit on us here first.

I don't think of white leadership as a magic cure all, but it is a certainty that when there isn't a single country left with white leadership, there will be no end to persecution of whites, organized or not. You can look at south africa for that.

There isn't a country in the world that would have voted for mass migration, the countries that did get to vote on this issue get their vote ignored. One of the reasons Trump got elected and one of the reasons brexit got voted is to control immigration and in both cases they did not get even a moderate brake on the migration rates and incentives.

I agree that we need to reduce censorship of ideas, but be aware that the current situation could only have been brought about through censorship of ideas and subversion of democracy.

And mass immigration itself is a subversion of democracy.

I think the positive thing that would come out with this mass censorship is that zoomers will learn old ways and flock in IRC channels (well, up until govt's would also try to shut down IRCs).

When the Turner Diaries become reality I'll accept that as an argument. As cynical and black-hearted as I am, I'm still not ready to accept that line of thinking. I as a child grew up with a black nanny, as a child played games with her black granddaughter. We have more in common with economic status (in the U.S. at least) than we'll ever have apart.

There isn't a country in the world that would have voted for mass migration, the countries that did get to vote on this issue get their vote ignored. One of the reasons Trump got elected and one of the reasons brexit got voted is to control immigration and in both cases they did not get even a moderate brake on the migration rates and incentives.

This is an example of politicians being voted into office that willfully defy the wishes of the people who did so. Full disclosure here: I voted for Trump and will purposefully vote Democrat for pres in the upcoming 2020 election. I'd go into that further but the gist is that I want him to be a one-term president as a lesson to fucking idiots who would court the public to get voted in only to compromise every step of the way afterward.

I agree that we need to reduce censorship of ideas, but be aware that the current situation could only have been brought about through censorship of ideas and subversion of democracy.

I'm fully cognizant of that, as is anyone who woke up to realize there's unironic articles calling for the banning of memes, or the chemical castration of children.

So many people nowadays are concerned with a coming "Dark Age" that they fail to realize we're in one. We're in a cage so gilded that there are people here who unironically believe that humans are born as good people, and that there's some kind of magical force that will allow us to all get along if we just try hard enough.

Thinking of it brings about a feeling that I can't quite describe but is close to melancholy.

And mass immigration itself is a subversion of democracy.

Without a doubt, but with the way in which the public opinion is stifled in favor of the squeaky wheel's narrative, such horrific violence is naught but a certainty, for nobody can speak such an obvious truth without being branded as some form of malcontent.

So I keep hearing people say, there were better ways. I've seen people try better ways, speakers, politicians, try to start a discourse, and all it was met with is smearing and lies. The college campus shutdowns, the anti fascist attacks, among other things.

Take Trump for example, he ran on a pretty benign, anti-immigration, anti-illegals, pro-nationalist platform, something that logically, and through common sense, should benefit the average voter, to help improve their lives. But the media, and many people I talk to, think he's literally the secret leader of the KKK, not even because he's proud of being white, but just because he's not ashamed of being a successful white American. It's just surreal.

They just don't want to talk, they just don't. And I seriously don't know how you are going to open up that dialogue. Even if Brevik and this guy never shot anyone, I don't think anything would've gone differently.

I think the part which really needs to be driven home is that he knew exactly what he was doing, and he's getting what he wants so far. Here's the most straightforward chunks of his manifesto, in terms of his positioning of himself firmly on a certain accelerationist trajectory.

Why did you carry out the attack?
...
To agitate the political enemies of my people into action, to over extend their own hand and experience the eventual backlash.

To show the effect of direct action, lighting a path forward for those that wish to follow. A path for those that wish to free their ancestors lands from the invaders grasp and to be a beacon for those that wish to create a lasting culture, to tell them they are not alone.

To create an atmosphere of fear and change in which drastic, powerful and revolutionary action can occur.

To add momentum to the pendulum swings of history, further destabilizing and polarizing Western society in order to eventually destroy the current nihilistic, hedonistic, individualistic insanity that has taken control of Western thought.

To drive a wedge between the nations of NATO that are European and the Turks that also make a part of the NATO forces, thereby turning NATO once more into a united European army and pushing the Turkey once more back to the true position of a foreign, enemy force.

Finally, to create conflict between the two ideologies within the United States on the ownership of firearms in order to further the social, cultural, political and racial divide within the United states. This conflict over the 2nd amendment and the attempted removal of firearms rights will ultimately result in a civil war that will eventually balkanize the US along political, cultural and, most importantly, racial lines.

This balkanization of the US will not only result in the racial separation of the people within the United States ensuring the future of the White race on the North American continent, but also ensuring the death of the “melting pot” pipe dream.

He got a Saudi citizen subject for fuck's sake, and another is wounded but will probably make it (sadly). Anyplace where Saudi subjects are welcome is an islamist cloaca.

Wahhabism, specifically, if I understand the mudscribbles. Our "allies" preach that. It's basically the Westboro Baptist / Black Hebrew Israelites of the Islamic world.

So I keep hearing people say, there were better ways.

The same people saying that, on average, also say that if you disagree with them you're a nazi, that they should be able to commit political assault on nazis in the street if they try to appear in public ("punch a nazi!"), and that "freeze peach" ends when you say something they don't like. Er, sorry, I mean "if you use hate speech."

Which doesn't exist.

Oh, and they have this wonderful "free speech doesn't mean freedom from consequences" mantra, which is a surefire way to tell you're talking about someone who feels they have the right to dictate what consequences are applied to whatever speech they encounter. I.e., yours.

Someone said a few pages back that IdPol is stupid and the only way to win is not to play. That is 100% unequivocally not true. IdPol is Politics. If you are not playing you are losing to those that are, period.

The answer is to make sure your politics -- and Identity Politics -- doesn't involve being an authoritarian cockbag like Antifa, the AnComs, BAMN, It's Going Down, and a host of other insane nutbars out there.

None of this is new to people who have followed this side of the internet's ideological sphere.

What is is that he acted on it, and if he gets the censorship that he wants, he'll have more like him.

Someone said a few pages back that IdPol is stupid and the only way to win is not to play. That is 100% unequivocally not true. IdPol is Politics. If you are not playing you are losing to those that are, period.

Whether you're a Civnat or a Fascist, a Communist or a Theocratist, this is true. Nobody wins here, but there are varying levels of losing.

The answer is to make sure your politics -- and Identity Politics -- doesn't involve being an authoritarian cockbag like Antifa, the AnComs, BAMN, It's Going Down, and a host of other insane nutbars out there.

There's an answer we haven't found yet, and finding it lies in letting censorship die by the wayside. For fuck's sake, Nazi's enjoy Pepsi or Coke too, same as how muslims find McDonalds just fine.

Isn't that sort of thing in the book about "Rules for Radicals" make sure your opponents stick to the rules, while you flaunt them. Rules for thee but not for me.
Now apparently someone decided. "Okay you want to play by that rulebook? Let's go."

These people created this environment, and now we are starting to see the cause and effect.

They are in control of the narrative, and until they decide to pull the train to a stop, then things will keep escalating, The terrorists believe they won't, so they are just giving it that extra nudge.

From ABC News Australia:

Christchurch shooting coverage and why the ABC chose not to share the gunman's 'manifesto'

This has always been an interesting Catch-22 for media outlets of which there really is no good choice.

The Public If You Share It:

"Why are you platforming and giving attention to the shooter? Don't you know this will inspire other people to do the same thing? He wants the attention. REEEEEEE!"

The Public If You Don't Share It:

"Why are you censoring the coverage? Doesn't the public have the right to know what he said? We're just going to find it anyways. REEEEEEEE!"

Not much to add other than what has already been said. Something I can ask is I wonder who's gonna kill this dude once he's in the slammer and how?

I put my money on a Muslim gang and by lighting him on fire with acetone through his meal chute, Breaking Bad style.
"Meet your new cellmate, Muhammad. He's also in for life, so I'm sure you'll be best friends in no time."
