He's likely both, but he sort of got things right. I just don't buy his narrative as being true. It's shit the things that can actually trigger you when you actually have PTSD. But from my experience, they aren't so directly obvious as this guy's cauliflower. All sorts of people write that they have PTSD and it's always these simple, direct triggers, like grade school dream analysis, and it doesn't hold up. The quote he used was very accurate, however. There's a sense of timelessness.

Being traumatized doesn't mean PTSD. Everybody gets traumatized, but it's different.

Shit like a car backfiring is an event for anyone with a heightened startle reflex, and the reason someone from combat might be set off is more that the startle kicked into them, and then, due to experience, it is related to the trauma, rather than a direct reminder of artillery or gunfire. I'm sure there are some kiwi combat vets and LEOs who could contradict me with their experience if they wish, but this direct relationship that comes up in these narratives seems cartoonish from my experience.

It's kind of like Blasey-Ford's testimony. I immediately disbelieved her as she ran through the checklist of DSM criteria for PTSD in her recounting. She had to explicitly insert she feared she would be killed, which is not a reasonable guess from a middle class fifteen year old girl, in a middle class setting in the early eighties with some guy trying to hump you. It is, however, a required criteria for PTSD: The real or perceived threat of death or serious bodily harm.

I think we've witnessed the first mass shooting based on complete and utter nihilism. You can call him evil, because that's what the goal was. You can't call him crazy, because he knew exactly what he was doing. I say this was a shooting of nihilism because there is no one real ideology here he's rooting for. He absolutely knew what he was about to do would call for more censorship, silence more speech and hurt the side the media thinks he's on far more than it ever would do anything. These people were in a empty room and just against the corners of the room, it wasn't like they were behind a closed and locked door (which would be much safer) they were just free targets and victims to shoot at.

Obviously what needed to be done was they needed the men to rush him from both corners as soon as he came into the room. Some of the men should have been crouched and springed forward from the lowest point at his legs while the others springed forward from their feet at the upper part of the killer (now the ones that were standing and lunging would probably be shot to death, and maybe even the lower defenders, but it beats just cowering into a corner with people to die).

Watching the video disgusted me completely. Especially just seeing him constantly shoot into them many times, then coming back to do it again and then targeting 1 body at a time and putting bullets into the heads to make sure they were all dead. Just disgusting. After watching this, and I've seen many fucked up videos like those serbian hammer guys that killed 26 people with a hammer and recorded every murder, I've seen just many, and quite frankly. I'm done. I'm not gonna watch anything like this again, I'll read about it, but I'm done watching it. No one deserves to die period. No matter what they believe, what color they are, where they come from, even shit they may have said, no one deserves to die.

Also stopping muslims from entering western countries is never going to happen. It's just a excuse to kill people and that's all it is, the killer knew that nothing will change, he just wanted to murder people.

You're missing the point. The point is that most people don't wake up amd decide to join a terror cell and spend thousands of dollars over months to make it happen. That is almost exclusively the realm of radical Islam, specifically of the Middle Eastern variety. Look at the demographics of the people killed and only like 3 Kiwis actually died, 19 were fucking Palestinians, the rest were also from the same area. You cannot convince me that these fighters weren't influenced at all by the overwhelming number of people from the hotbed itself. Not to mention the Mossad connection. That being said the Mossad thing could've been anything from surveillance of terror suspects to stealing information to fake passports, but I find it exceptionally odd that this oh so peaceful mosque frequented by 95% foreigners from an area actively engaged in conflict that also happened to be on Mossad's list just happened to produce terrorists. Killing people isn't going to solve this. If you just start shooting people for "especially heinous" crimes you end up

1. Subverting Due Process and rule of law
2. Alienating the general public
3. Galvanizing political radicals of both sides
4. Encouraging violence against politicians and law enforcement
5. Allowing political murders under the guize of "state security"

Remember Stalin's Purge? That's what you end up with.

Right now we have two options and only two options to avert a Constitutional Crisis, civil unrest, or civil war:

1. Start it off with a bang. We start cracking down own wrongthink and sympathizers. I mean, everyone that is right of Clinton. Anyone who will not tow the line and could potentially pose a threat to public and state safety. You throw them in camps, prison, or graves. If someone doesn't follow orders, shoot them. 2. Start an open and honest dialogue with both sides about their major concerns and make both sides feel like they are respected and their opinion matters. Make both sides feel like they have a stake in the country and society. Try to find common ground and compromise on major issues.
