Honestly, I think we have finally hit the keystone and the patient zero for the idiocy that has infected the Anime dubbing community
Sabat.
To not put too fine a point on it, this drama has played out entirely at his command. He was the dude who hired Schemmel and made him the voice of Goku. He gave Marchi, and Monica their positions in the Anime subbing world. He was a principle founder of Funimation and remains their major producer. The immutable link with Japan and the "talent" he brings on. Vic was not among his controlled cast though, it HAS to be noted. Vic had independent reference through numerous independent publishing houses.
Looking through the IMDB postings, Vic is the ONLY major voice actor for funimation that was never dependent on Sabat for his positions. Everyone else, Haberkorn included, relied on Sabat to put them where they were in the Anime subbing hierarchy. Marchi, Rial, Schemmel, Haberkorn. All of them had to dance to the tune demanded by Sabat. But Vic didn't. He has his own career and came in independently. Sabat did not like this. And neither did his flunkies. And the moment that rabid hamster in Kaylyn Saucedos brain decided to throw the panic switch and signal boost the fujoshies, Sabat and Company thought they finally, at last, had the excuse to do away with the rogue element in there niche little convention and voice acting racket.
And kaboom. The Weeb Wars are launched, In an effort to stem the tide, Sabat sends out his useful idiot, Shane Holmberg, who up until this point was the moron he used to coordinate with those equally moronic and disgusting conventions, to do battle with Nick Rekieta. When Shane was doing his NPC reprograming routine on discord, the guy he was getting orders from was most likely Sabat himself. And it blew up in both their fucking faces. But they could not stop, and eventually the con owners got sick and fucking tired of having to debase themselves in front of Sabat and his cuck Shane and spilled the beans to Rekieta.
And here we are. With the conspiracy laid out in real time. In minecraft of course because I am merely guessing here with my brain, but my guess may well be correct. In minecraft.
