I don't think Geekdom has anything to do with what's going on, but it would be odd for him to inform Nick of goings on considering his ties to Sabat and his sponsorship from Funimation.

It would be odd but a lot of these people seem two-faced, so who knows. It's hard to know where anyone really stands when behind the scenes Iago could be bullying and bribing them into doing what he wants.

I'm still going with Shane being Igor, if only because Mr. Ty Beard said that "Iago isn't going to hire a lawyer for you". Which would indicate the person is poor as dirt, I'm sure Schemmel could afford a lawyer.

Plus we've already been introduced to Ron's alleged lawyer, so Iago paying for Ron's representation would be a non-factor.

Edit: Also, Hero Hei's video from this morning might help make a case for who Iago is and throw some rotten fruit at them too.

At roughly 11:13 (potential) Iago even states: "It was like a family reunion and for a brief moment I got to sit at the head of the table".

At 14:41ish there's talk about Schemmel too, and how nice he isn't, but Hei also sort of hints that maybe Sabat had something to do with the removal of the Goku before Schemmel too. Makes me wonder if Schemmel came out of that owing a career and favors to Sabat.

Nothing new to us in TUG's "Here's His Address" video, it's just about dealing with the opposition and the blue-haired orca.

Just wanted to mention this since I don't know if anyone else has noticed but at 42:17 in the stream Ty mentions that Iago does not appear to be an employee of either of the studios that BHBH are interested in. Shortly after that he mentions that Iago doesn't work at any conventions, but does hold influence over them. At 43:44 Ty says that they are not just going to touch Iago but his company too, Iago has a company of which he is a vice principle in. At 46:54 Ty says that they don't have quite enough evidence to nail Iago in the first round of litigation.
As a quick recap:
-Iago does not appear to be an employee at either of the studios BHBH are currently interested in.
-Iago does not work at conventions but holds influence over them.
-Iago is a vice principal in a company.
Based off this I don't think Iago is any of the Funimation Voice actors. While I could be wrong, based off that voice the Beard did along with the other factors part of me is screaming that Iago is Miles Luna from Rooster Teeth. If that's correct then Igor could be Zach that one guy from ANN that was talked about at 1:46:31 in this stream.

Umm but aren't they looking at RT also? I mean the only two studios they would be looking at are Funimation and RT.

I thought Ty was looking at RT? Also what power does Miles Luna have over Tod Haberkorn who has been threatened by Iago for lawyering up with the same firm as Vic. How much sway does he have with cons?

The vice principal stuff is interesting though, we're gonna be spending weeks trying to figure out who Iago and Igor are while things are slow.

Basically, it seems that extra-soft tofu here thinks Vic's GoFundMe is a war chest that's being used to hire legal assassins to come after him, his fiancee, and the other KickVic voice actors, and threaten them into giving up and shutting up.

It's quite funny actually because it's completely true. Vic's hired guns are threatening you with legal action, Ron! You should be intimidated and afraid! That's the Beard's job! And it's perfectly ethical, cuck-boy - he's in it for his client; he doesn't care about your fee-fees! You wronged his client, and he can prove it! And to make matters worse for you, it sounds like he's taking this all personally. He's going to steamroll you. You've got a lawyer now, right? Go cry to him... he'll tell you, in fact he's probably already told you, to shut your stupid mouth and stop digging. Settling is your best bet at this point, and you better believe Ty Beard and the Amazons are going to try to intimidate you into settling. They're hired to be mean to you. Yikes, sorry. I must've been channeling Rekieta for a minute. I blame it on the sleep deprivation. That stream with the Beard last night really amped things up... he's not naming names, yet, but he's publicly confirming things about their case. Compare to the first Beard stream, when everything was purely hypothetical - what they could do. That time, he was very careful not to say what they are doing. This time, I could smell the smoke. And we know from yesterday's steam that Sabat (and Rial) had been doing this. So even though there's an apparent conflict that Sabat is apparently an employee of some sort of Funimation, that last point is what's leading me, and probably many others here, to believe Sabat is Iago.

I think they're workers under contract? Not 100% sure what that would mean in regards to voice acting, though. Vic seems to do VA work for several studios, but I legit can't name a Jamie project that wasn't Funimation. Than again, I'm not up-to-date on dubs right now.

Yeah that's the problem with the Miles theory BHBH are most likely are interested in Rooster Teeth as well as Funimation. Of course when Ty said that Iago doesn't seem to be an employee at either studio they we're interested in he could have been talking about Funimation and Chris Sabat's studio, or he could have been talking about Funimation and Rooster Teeth, or all three of them for all we know. Then there's the question of how much sway he has over cons and yeah I have no Idea how Miles would have any sway over cons maybe through Zach? It's all up in the air for now as to who Iago and Igor could be.
As for Todd, I know Ty said that one of his clients was threatened but did he say Todd specifically? If not then it could be either Todd or Vic. I still need to watch the whole stream over again so sorry if I missed or forgot anything.

Sabat is weird. I’m betting he does not show up on paper anywhere in Funimation as an employee or contractor. He is some sort of weird nebulous business partner. A producer on their projects. He would appear to be some sort of off the books management or principal. This is why Texas takes a broad view of “Vice Principals” for litigation purposes, with one definition being anyone with hiring/firing power or approval.

And Sabat seems to be similarly nebulous with the Cons. Such as his strange special tour package with Kamehacon Con.

It would be truly great if someone came forward to just air out the dirtiest laundry. I just have the feeling this sort of thing has been going on for too long. Schemmel throwing a fit over other Goku actors. Sabat giving his "friends" aka "idiots he controls" roles. I don't want to know what some of the
MHA actors had to do to get their roles.

I think there are quite a number of VA’s production people and con operators that will quietly rejoice at the Texas VA Mafia getting some comeuppance. But there is not enough going on here to unwind it, yet.Sabat will still be the spider in the web unless an enterprising AG holds his nose and dives into Weeb dom.
