if you think i'm wrong about fair use, then sue me", and then Toei either has to or admit its wrong.
I don't uploads videos myself, but from what I've heard Youtube hasn't made companies take legal action to dispute copyrights for a while.

It seems like Youtube is letting claimants get away with whatever, these days. If you have the time, a Youtuber called InfernoPlus made a video detailing the bullshit he had to go through with copyright strikes:

If Youtube isn't willing to stop insane abuse of copyright strikes like the ones in the video then they certainly aren't going to help TFS when the anime companies strike them.

YouTube rarely does shit anymore about strikes because they would have to hire people to parse through frivolous copywrite claims.

Google has very openly said "fuck hiring people to work at youtube", so now we reach this impasse, where people can copywrite strike videos and even entire channels for very petty reasons.

Check WANG's video on the 80's Japanese pop song Plastic Love as an example. It wasn't struck because of the song, but for the picture used, and YouTube stuck with it.

For those who were wondering whether Iago was or was not Chris Sabat: Iago was said to be the vice principle at his company. Behold.

If he keeps getting D's like this, Nick might actually score lower/as low as Assblasted Alejandro did.

Someone tell him to pick up a PlugnPlay controller or something.

That wasn't crazy, you were just flatout wrong in a semi-autistic way that r/woosh doesn't cover, and I efficiently attempted to explain why without missing a beat in an equally autistic manner while injecting some informative background on it.

Yes, predatory SJW types jumped on the criticism and raised a fuss, but you don't need to be a SJW to think it's trash, or that it's gross. And that's coming from someone who unfortunately ended up watching it all the way through in sub and in dub. The SJWs involved in that fiasco just jumped onto Shield Hero when GS ended because they thought they could continue with the outrage they partook in during GS. However, Shield Hero is an actually good anime, and so if you see anyone calling it woman-hating trash, you can quickly suss out they're not actual viewers of the anime, just virtue signalers.

They're not masterpieces, but that's not the problem with your assessment in calling them trash. In both situations with both animes, the articles about how it was toxic and problematic came out ahead of the actual release of the anime itself.

People threw themselves into a frenzy to denounce it for the woke points long before any of them actually knew what the source material was, and after the articles pretended that they knew while crying about the eponymous rape scene of Episode One -- while not realizing the fate of some characters in the LN are much grimmer and problematic to a progressive than anything that was in the aired series.

Literally everything else past Episode 2 was as milktoast as most isekai/mecha anime ever get, yet you didn't mention it at all.

Or, the fact that Crunchyroll outright put a trigger warning on a mature anime, while at the same time never getting any flak for ever AIRING the anime in question. Or, the fact that they have a problem with "problematic and sexy women" but 0 problems with brutal depictions of murder, gore, and mutilation.

This is the same problem mirrored in anime as is mirrored RIGHT NOW with Sony Console and PC Censorship:
The Woke Journogazi want to ban Dead or Alive 6 because of the jiggle physics, yet they give a pass on Mortal Kombat 11;

At no point did you address this similarity, this instead went straight over your head. This is what prompted me to respond.

And now here we are.

They did what you did -- dismissed the meat of the intellectual arguments of the main ideas and themes of both narratives and plots in place for focusing on the character designs and to throw shit at the wall and see what stuck with normies, while not realizing characters like the Sword Maiden can't just be "cleaned up" from being "fopping sexmoppits", because of how important those designs are in being on-model and accurate to the source material, just as much as the subject matter is.

If the production companies hadn't done that, they'd have been raked over the coals in the exact same way as Funimation is for sticking their ideological agendas into the anime they dubbed, which was the very first post I ever made addresses.

All I did was chide you about your outlook, because you didn't seem to understand the difference of tone & setting between a comedy and a dramatic soap opera Isekai, and kinda didn't see the forest for the trees from your pantleg.

And apparently you didn't grasp this because you were too busy having a fit that someone didn't like your anime, but my point by mentioning Konosuba is that if any anime should be considered 'woman hating' or 'problematic', then it should be something like Konosuba where it plays off fake allegations as a joke and that women just throw them around randomly to get what they want. Shield Hero focuses on the damage it does and shows that only the most vile people would make such an allegation, compared to Konosuba suggesting 'any girl will use it to control a guy with no concern for what that does to him'. The fact that it isn't by-and-large given that treatment (at worst it's just looked down on for being ecchi isekai and the source of so many bad copy anime) shows that the whole outrage toward Shield Hero is manufactured nonsense and not a genuine reaction.

No, no, I addressed that -- The usual suspects who write those articles and hold those ratioable opinions are the same people who willfully play fast and loose with their goalposts; And, as I said, they hate them equally, for multiple reasons that are cherry-picked and ideologically offensive in nature.

Also, what? Of course the outrage against the shows are manufactured -- all outrage about anime in general by the MSM progressive media is, and it never works for them to get them cancelled; It always has the opposite effect of drawing people in to watch them.

The things you're bringing up here aren't problems of me as an anime watcher or anyone defending or attacking your argument, they're your personal opinions about Ecchi and Isekai tropes that you're projecting out a cunt-hair bit.

You might just not like those specific genres of Isekai. That doesn't make them trash-- not as seasonals or as light novels. If you can't view this any other way than I have to be a fanatic, there's a chance that it's you. Or maybe, I explained my position and outlook in a way you saw as abrasive from the outset by my deliberate "Uhm ackshually" template without getting it -- in which case, that's my fault.

Either way, you gotta work that out on your own. I'm not your sunbae on it, you're an adult and should know what you like.

Arguing about this past the facts about the controversies is a dick-measuring contest I have no interest in.

~~

I love the energy and fact that these guys are figuring most of this shit out on their own with a little him from Ty and Nick.

There are even some users outright daring Sabot to play chicken with KamehaCon and to cancel to join Rial as well.

And the soy boys in Rial's comments to possibly get a piece of her is just -chef's kiss-

So the non woke weebs are turning into LegalWeebs?

The lawyer is incompetent.
or
Monica ignored the lawyer.
or
There is no lawyer.
I said earlier I think the lawyer was just for Ron. Its looking like either that's the case or someone didn't consult the high priced lawyer they hired. Either way its like shes following an "Idiots Guide to openly cover every element of the tort and guarantee even a 1L would prevail against you".

Why the fuck are so many of Vic's detractors Cosplay thots?

Because they know that the sad bastards that give them money are the same type who "listen and believe" and all that crap. They're just looking out for business and now they can whine about needing money online where they'll get donations from all over instead of having to scrape by at the convention where they have to compete with the other cosplay thots.

There is that picture of Dominuque Skye and some other girl holding a little kickvic sign and the other girl (I forgot her name) was bragging how she was getting more clicks thanks to this situation from both sides of the issue.

I see. I'm operating on slightly outdated information. wonder why they removed that. in that case, there is no real recourse. not even lawsuits are on the table, because suing toei is a bitch and a half, for the same reason that toei trying to sue TFS would be. international lawsuits are nightmares to deal with. getting one off the ground and successfully litigating it is why mark zaid is famous.

I honestly feel very badly for the management and hosts of Kamehacon: what a legal clusterfuck these KickVic shitheads have caused. I imagine this will be the last Kamehacon, at least that they do. Hopefully there will be enough community suppoprt that they don't lose out financially, at least; I think mentally and emotionally that ship has already sailed. I bet that guy hasn't gotten a decent night's sleep in two weeks.

Yea all this probably has cemented the fact there wont be another one of these.
Edit Do Cons make a lot of money for the people running them? Or do they do them just to bring the people together? If its the latter its a shame for the Kame Con owner.

I'm finally caught up, it only took all night. :stress:

How can so much shit happen so quick? From REEEn throwing a tantrum by charging back her tickets yet asking for a refund anyway to Monica breaking her contract with KamehaCon to spite Vic.

@Memology 101 getting into slapfight with REEEn is pretty funny, but he really should be careful because that blue whale will flag his channel, not just the video on her, all of them. All she does, bait people into talking to her, reports that as harassment, gets the person suspended, rinse and repeat. You can tell she hates when people monetize her screeching, so go right ahead and keep making more videos on her, even if it gets her the attention she wants.

Shane has done a full 180, pretty interesting it happened a couple days after THE BEARD threw out his wrestling promo at Iago and Igor. ? If Shane is Igor, I doubt he'll get away from the Beard's touch.

Some updates on Hanleia:
Monica breaking her contract is the most :story: thing so far. KamehaCon (KC) probably won't punish her for breaking the contract but it doesn't really matter, all the other cons just saw her walk out on 2 consecutive cons and this will affect all her con appearances from here on. Who will invite someone that cancels their appearances that often? Oh the cherry on top is her looking for a place to do signings, a place that won't have as much security as the KC is likely to have, because she's afraid of Vic or some shit. I'm guessing she will say it's not Vic who she's afraid of but his fans, ok lady go right ahead and go to another location without armed security, I'm sure it will be way safer. I doubt the contract she had with KC would have a non-compete clause, considering how thin Ty thought the contracts were, but I'm 100% sure KC will take how they make their contracts way more seriously from now on. The only thing that will make this better is if Sabat doesn't walk out and leaves her hanging, he actually has a lot money riding on this with his $550 studio tours. And if he does break contract then he just proved the Con harassment allegations, talk about a lose-lose :story:

So far quite a few people have dropped from KamehaCon for KC sticking to their contracts, that must be very awkward for the Con. Because they're honoring one contract, a bunch of piss babies are virtue signalling by breaking theirs. Great idea, real galaxy brains here. If more people start dropping I'm sure KC will start to enforce said contracts or they could cower to them again and forever be welcome mats for VAs with inflamed egos. I truly don't envy those poor bastards and hope they can get through this without killing KC forever.

For the people complaining about Archive.is/fo/li not working, just use Wayback Machine or TweetSave. There's more than just one internet archival tool.

Can anyone tell me which VAs have dropped KC so far? I know Monica and Jason have dropped, anyone else?

Pretty much, yeah.
It's part of why #KickVic and Lauren are so fucking agitated.

In a little over a month and a half, Rekieta and Vic have become an inescapable terror for them to the point Mrs. "I WILL NOT BE HARRASSED" slowed her fucking roll and decided to chill with the Homeland Security bullshit, and everyone who isn't down in the trenches with #KickVic are now reading, retweeting and consuming pro-Vic content, news and material.

It's goddamn beautiful.

Yea, this is all a legal issue, which is something that I’m amazed that these people won’t get through their thick skulls.

All they have to do is listen to Nick and Ty to know that KickVic and these dumb fucking voice actors causes some legal plights with Kameha Con and coercing them into doing illegal activity. That pretty much solidified Jason’s stance on things. It’s as though every body shuts their brain cells off when legal matters are addressed. It’s dumbfounding.

I can’t wait for Sabat’s response. I just can’t wait. Whether he goes or not, he’s fucked.

Looking more and more like Rial is Igor, still no lawyer by the looks of it and seems to be throwing herself onto the sacrificial pyre with reckless abandon.

If she isn't Igor she's one dumb broad, I only hope papers and potential restraining orders are filed before Kameha con for maximum laughs.
