The hilarious thing there would be that the best defense against paying damages, at least against a direct loss, would be that the con suffered no loss due to a de minimus number of paid tickets being canceled. Which as far as I can tell is currently the case.

It could be. But (and I could be wrong here) I was under the impression Igor was supposed to be out there doing the dirty work, stirring shit up, and getting work done in some way.

Hence Igor/Renfield: A crazy, broken lackey to someone of much greater influence. That doesn't really fit for Sean. Sean has been remarkably quiet throughout all of this, and he hasn't really been anyone's lackey as far as I can see. He's an unstable idiot, but I haven't seen anything that makes me think he's that involved.

So for me, it feels more likely that Sabat is our silent shit-stirrer like we suspected, and that Igor is one of these public provocateurs causing problems, spreading messages, etc. But because there are so many people like that, it's hard to narrow down.

This is what makes me think its Geekdom or the blue haired Golbat. BHG loves screaming on twitter whilst geekdom actually has influence over a majority of the dragon ball community. Think about it, he may not be saying anything directly, but by liking kickvic tweets FROM HIS FRIENDS, it implies he supports their views. Heck, he may even be the one who told them to pull out and cause a stir in the first place. We were told that Igor was a sad, pathetic individual who does all of Iago's dirty work. To the extent of my knowledge, we weren't told that he didn't have some intelligence. Perhaps we're all just guilty of embedding info.

We know that Igor/Renfield isn't a particularly intelligent individual in each of their representations and we assume that Igor/Renfield is the same in this case. Yes, in each case both of those were portrayed as ugly and stupid individuals, one of their defining traits, but another defining trait of each of them was their absolute devotion to their masters.

Also, while sean is a good contender for Igor, I'm more inclined to believe it's Geekdom as Sean doesn't particularly like Sabat due to Sabat effectively being more well loved in the community nor criticized as much as Sean has for his voice acting. Sean has even told him to fuck himself/fuck off before when sabat made a snide comment around the same time Sean was getting shit for kicking kelamis off the first kamehacon and his goku black accent.

Wasn't Schemmel thought to be responsible for trying to get Peter Kelamis (Other Goku) canceled in last years Kameha Con? That may be why he wasn't invited this year, why deal with that hassle. Granted I don't think they thought this year would be such a huge hassle that they are thinking this will be the last time they run the Convention.

Forgot to post these, but oh well, better late than never. Theese posts have in them some slightly interesting statements from Shane. Vic has confessed to something, there are witnesses, people who would get sued already got lawyers, all that fun stuff.
They're circa 5th of March, given the most odd activity on Shane's end I figured archiving some of his interesting statements won't hurt, just so he can't go nuclear and delete it all in. It'd be a real pity if he has to tell the court just what witnesses is he talking about in those tweets, what did Vic confess to and when and to who, or how did he know something that wasn't announced publically - namely, that people who'll get sued by Vic already have lawyers.

Shane's speaking nonsense like he usually does. He's just trying to manipulate people and by extension Vic into thinking he's the only capable and smart person on his side, and the only way to do things is his genius way (that won't work) and any other way is DOOMED TO FAILURE.

The """"confession"""" is just the time when Vic broke down crying at a panel early on during kickvic and apologized to everyone if they had ever, at any time, felt uncomfortable or upset about his hugs. He'd gotten so comfortable and so used to people wanting hugs, he'd started assuming people probably wanted them and so it's possible he could have hugged people who didn't want it.

Yeah, that was the worst DDOS I can remember just because of the length. But I think that was because Null was afk. Usually he comes in and tries to fight back a bit or outright fixes the issue and it stops. But since he wasn't around it continued for quite a while until he woke up I guess.

All of these people on Social media aren't fully aware of the influence they have with their followers by posting all of this crap without thinking.

While I think they very likely have less influence than they believe (check out their likes and retweets on their Tweets-- quite low overall), I do believe that all of this was a concerted effort to screw over the con. I guess we'll see if they do breach their contracts (instead of talking about it) and KC decides to sue them. I would argue at this point that they're causing damage already, even if they don't breach. I do wonder about their contracts and what they say. Apparently Rekieta will have a stream tonight about this situation.
