He told me he catches up on this thread nightly. I once mentioned something here, and he made reference to it in a DM, so he ain't bullshitting.
I'm sure he knows about Section 4.4. He read the article. Said something about how it must have been very hard for Lynzee admitting to it (hopefully he's okay with my sharing that bit... he'll probably even mention it on his stream).
It's actually interesting, though, if you think on it. This article only specifies a certain area in the contract, after Rial mentioned that she might form/go to another convention for autographing?
Almost like...maybe as though..Lynzee is trying to warn Rial? Especially considering she put a greater emphasis on Rial towards the end of the article.
It gets my noggin joggin a bit.
There's also this line right here:
"The contract goes on to say that if either the event or guest is affected by one of the aforementioned reasons [ any total or partial failure of performance by it or its duties and obligations under this Agreement occasioned by any act of God, fire, act of government or state, criminal act of any third party, war, civil commotion, insurrection, act of terrorism, embargo, labor disputes of whatever nature, adverse weather conditions, event cancellations, and any other reasons beyond the control of either party], they must provide the reason in writing with substantial proof. The following section (4.3) lays out that guests will not be held liable for failure to attend the convention for the above reasons but also goes on to include illness, injury, and/or disability of the guest or an immediate family member as viable reasons to cancel. "
Act of God - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Fire - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Act of government or state - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Criminal act of any third party - HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
War - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Civil commotion - not happened [yet], from what anyone can tell (and there's security at the convention, as Kameha Con reiterated)
Insurrection - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Act of terrorism - not happened, from what anyone can tell (and, these people still went to Pensacon, despite a bomb threat)
Embargo - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Labor disputes of whatever nature - Maybe, in the context of the convention?
Adverse weather conditions - only time could tell, but contracts would have been cancelled before that
Event cancellations - Kameha Con isn't cancelled
Any other reasons beyond the control of either party - not happened, from what anyone can tell
Illness - none that are announced
Injury - none that are announced
Disability of the guest or an immediate family member - none that are announced
Also, this part right here:
"...they must provide the reason in writing with substantial proof..."
The problem is that people like Monica Rial and Daman Mills said that there were safety and moral reasons for leaving. Kameha Con, though, stated that their safety system is locked and loaded for any problems that exist, nevermind the fact that cameras and phones will be present, along with Vic's attorneys. As for the moral reasons, it would have to be to prove that Vic is a sexual predator or whatever, which of course these people have said time and time that they don't have proof for. And, Kameha Con invited Vic back.
So, what's the deal?

Wow...
Just Wow...
You have to have some pretty big cojones to say "you're supposed to be innocent until proven guilty". How can any person alive be so dam hypocrite? What right does she have to say this?
