People who get into this industry do not do it because they love to do the job; It's to compensate for a personality dysfunction.
As some people may have surmised by my autistic-like back and forths with some people over the arts and how the industry works, I'm a VA (a small time one) and a giant industry/anime oldfag; one who used to live in CA, but was forced to move due to reasons.
I've run conventions in my home state, only to watch that same convention founded by my own sister that I had to uphold as a legacy in college get destroyed by fuckwits like Lauren, Kaylyn and Rial with their bullshit.
Fortunately, I was never fully indoctrinated to be a full SJW -- they gave me the programming, but never the cancer.
Alot of VAs got some real funky shit going on -- more than streamers and your regular lolcows do.
Some of us were outright bullied to tears as kids -- being given attention, money and adoration gives us/them some level of self-worth and perspective.
