Sorry for being a few pages behind, but it's definitely true that Greta Thunberg is at least partially being used as a tool by adult climate activists (including her mother, who is well-known for her political activism). The article leaves out a lot of details in that aspect, but this topic has been discussed on Swedish social media for quite some time now and it's one of the reasons why her activism is viewed as controversial here. A blogger dug around a little bit deeper and wrote a few good blog posts about it here, here and here.

The conflation of leprosy and albinism, or of vitiligo leading to whiteness is a racist trope. It has no scientific basis (probably it started from the fact that leprosy can cause localised depogmentation.)
Skin colour genetics are fascinating and complex and still quite contentious. Flow of genes from Neanderthal populations probably played a role as well as reduced UV at high latitudes, but latitude alone isn’t enough short term (a few thousand years, as shown by the slightly darker skin tones of many arctic populations.)
Leprosy itself (as in Hansen’s disease) isn’t even thought to be what the bible actually means when it talks about leprosy either - it’s not known what the disease was or whether it was partially a metaphor for ‘being unclean.’

I know at least three women who used planned parenthood while they were poor for various women's health services. They do all the fun medical shit needed for all that, distribute contraceptives, have lots of information, etc. I know it's easy to get caught up in fiery rhetoric but planned parenthood does a lot more than abortions.
