Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

I may not be familiar with PULL lore but just what I have seen here I don't think they're nearly clever enough to pull a gay op like that. They're the type of girls that never got over how much power they had being mean girls in high school, they're vicious but not smart.

Either case, it's a fun detour but not terribly crucial to the overall goal.

Feel remiss if it's not beaten to death. Null has said that when he created the Beauty Parlour (if memory serves) any from Pull that were worth anything migrated over here.

Yep, PULL used to be pretty alive, then when the beauty parlour opened anyone normal had no reason to stay there with mods that were literal camwhores who couldn't take any heat and freaked out super easily
The only people who stayed are the types that didn't like kiwi because everyone was open to be made fun of and where moralfagging and alogging is usually frowned upon
PULL is a place where they can act morally superior and hugbox-y while still hypocritically laughing at female lolcows
I remember /cgl/ had a few threads on them and most of the women that are left there are bigger cows than the ones they make fun of, usually failed costhots

So, in response to OP on the gaming/geekdom/normie thread, I must disagree with your points. Geek stuff was a lot of fun when there was only a few of us, even if we had to fight to exist. Gaming was fun playing casually with other gamers, even if I enjoyed it in different ways than everyone else I was playing with. Once I experienced tabletop gaming gone mainstream to the point there were recognized events that were more to push a product than have fun to the point that I was exiled for having unique minis (that looked much better than the cookie cutter armies the other guys were playing with) because they were not 100% sold by the game's publisher the hobby wasn't much fun anymore.

I started PC gaming on an old XT and saw that hobby get fucked over by mainstream popularity where it's more viable and profitable for a "game" to be sold half finished as a live service with fucking lootboxes and excessive monetization. I would (figuratively) kill for either of these to go back to being niche hobbies focused on having fun more than pushing numbers, moving product beyond what the market could bear, and monetizing beyond anything reasonable, but I'm sure there's probably some other cow thread about all this shit somewhere else on the farms

The point I was trying to make earlier was that hobbies are intrinsically of higher quality when they require effort to do and have a small number of highly motivated people doing them. That isn't to say that it's bad when people outside the initial fandom get into them. It's nice having more hobby-related stuff being produced; it's nice seeing the inroads a hobby makes into our culture. But that doesn't mean the hobby can't be stunk up by drama whores, ideologues, and people making low-effort cash-in material. The whole "Well just let those people enjoy it their way and you enjoy it your way and you won't bother each other" argument falls flat when official makers of hobby-related material start nerfing the material, aiming it towards a bland, mainstream audience, (or, alternatively, aiming it towards whales in niche, insular subgroups within the hobby who shell out loads of money for a version of it that appeals only to them.) It seems that hobbies, therefore, have something of a lifecycle - A birth period, a growth period, a peak, a decline, then a leap back into obscurity only to be rediscovered or reworked into a different medium sometime later. Nothing wrong with this. All things grow, develop and change.

(I do think hobbies become worse when people start adopting them as a lifestyle or as a primary part of their identity, to the point that they begin to lose themselves within a fantasy. It's okay to like a fictional character from a series or game and make content around them. It's not okay to actually start believing that you're an avatar of that character forced to live in the mundane world; it's not okay to act with distress everytime someone "misidentifies" you and fails to acknowledge your true magical nature. Of course, if things like this never happened, Kiwifarms would never have been created and/or shaped into its current form.)

KickVic fandom just killed themselves again. COME ON SHANE! Don't be a fucking idiot. But somehow? You surprise us again. OOF! Can't wait for the lawsuit to come out good. :)

What happened now?

Hey I heard good old Ron Soye said something about Nick on Twitter did anyone catch that from behind his privated Twitter?

wooo guys. been a while, trying to catch up with the thread, honestly just can't be arsed anymore cos it's like theres 20 new pages of comments here every day :stress:

Too many things I need to freaking quote tweet as well to respond to, so i'm just going to make them points cos i'm not going to go look through the thread for those specific quotes. Sorry if they've already been addressed.

First, to the things I actually managed to add to my multi quote thread

Is that sperg really digging that back up? Because Vic and Shatner worked things out a while ago. An intern was doing some of the aggressive tweets if I recall correctly

Yup, I think one of the guys even pulled up a message of a fan messaging vic to confirm if it was true, Vic confirmed it was the aide aggressively tweeting, but do we have anything that can prove they worked things out, just to shut these ass clowns up ?

I do. I'm not sure I'm ready to stick my flag in it yet, but it's an interesting thought.

What causes me to doubt is that Nick said that Vic's initial cancellation, and the pressure to not re-invite, came down to Rial and Sabat. He didn't mention Geekdom.

Of course, that could just mean Sabat didn't utilize Geekdom (assuming he's Igor) for Kameha Con, but has used him elsewhere. Or Nick didn't get the full story that included all the players.

It could be that he didn't use Geekdom for Vics initial cancellation but used him now when Vic was re-invited by getting him to get all his friends cancel their content creator panels. Idk.

Anyway, how does the thread view the Sabat=Iago theory anymore? I know Nick has said some things but i'm still convinced that Sabat is Iago.

Is that really true? The old Broly movies (and the DBZ movies in general) were terrible. I'm surprised there was any sort of Broly fanbase at all before the new movie.

His backstory was terrible, the actual concept of a character that's just a powerhouse is what's popular. I dare say out of all the old movie merch, Broly's moved the most.

@JackAtlas (hopefully this tags you, idk how it works on the forum)

wrt to your geekdom stealing the synopsis for the Broly movie, I didnt even know that. to the extent of my knowledge he got that synopsis from KenXyro who also had friends who went for the movie in Japan.

The current just for lols

I guarantee he probs was burning inside :story: This was from when he cancelled his panel at kamehacon and people responded. What an assclown.

On new people confirmed for the con

Flood them with positivity, especially the co-host and chuck huber. they chose to attend this con despite "security concerns". Vic also addressed this in his stream this week.

While we're on the topic, Some major hypocrisy and contradiction I'm not sure was posted here (archive crapping on me again, so only screenshot).

"I fEaR fOr My SaFeTy"

Sarah Wideandfelt's (Yes using Nick's mispronunciation:story:) Brother

Irony and hypocrisy. I'm waiting on the curb your enthusiasm theme meme for it:story:

Also, if he bought the HDD from someone else and built the PC, why didn't he wipe the HDD? Only a noob would make that mistake. Also, I'm not one to judge, but if that mugshot I saw on the thread was actually him... I mean...I'm not really one to talk... but... if the look fits...

Guys, It's a legitimate 40 yo woman, not a guy pretending to be a woman. I don't want to dox her, but if you do a tiny bit of searching, you can find a pic of her from this year. Not particularly my cup of tea. Also she's the typical kind of SJW from her tweets. Kinda struggling not to make an entire thread on her on twitter and put her on blast for her hypocrisy after she admitted she might've done some shady things too. Again, she's just an overly sensitive sack of shit who blocks people for having a different opinion. She's also been actively searching her name and blocking anyone calling her out (even if she isn't tagged in the post) or on IStandWithVic

Daily Anime Pull Twitter account Nick brought up on stream

Unfortunately it looks like a second account made by perfection or some really heavy dick riding fan of his or a fake account like nick and emosh claimed. Report it and get it banned or it's going to give more fuel to KickVic to claim we encourage toxicity.

Kamehacon and the cancelled VAs & Panels

quite honestly, with the content creators, who gives a fuck if they come or not? As much a niche as the con is, I'd prefer a better variety than everyone geekdom is friends with ever. Heck, i'd rather meet the db gamer content creators than any of these guys. KC shouldn't sue them but just shouldn't invite them back to the con. I mean seriously, not only did their own friend (geekdom) bat for them, but the con also took a gamble and reserved space for them. Of course with them cancelling, i still think geekdom has a hand in it so i'm not particularly sympathetic towards him. Also, again I'm going to say, A contract doesn't need to be in writing to be called a contract. Nick even brought it up as a side example/anecdote in his stream when he reviewed the blank con contract. A verbal agreement is also a contract. It's harder to prove there was a contract, but it's still a contract. If these creators were already paid to appear, sue their asses.

On the VAs, i don't think kamehacon would sue them. Like nick says, they'll probably work out an agreement so no bridges are burnt for the sake of future cons but my guess is that the con is going to be less accommodating in the future to them due to their behavior right now. Also, probably will make them issue a retraction on the safety of the con.

On Stephanie Nadoly and her stance

looking at it now, if she was one of those 25 (oh wait, it's in the hundreds now right ?:story: how do you make this shit up???:story:) women who came forth with allegations against vic, she would've probably come out in public and said it by now. The fact that she hasn't means shes either keeping it for a major reveal, knows its not going to have any proper weight like the others, or possibly just doesn't like molesters. Its possible she had a proper experience with a sexual assault (with another person, not vic) and assumes vic assualted these women in the same way/believes their stories.

Has anyone else cancelled besides those 4/5 VAs ?

SomeBlackGuy on twitter on FUNI unsub button

I like him, he's quite a large youtuber and he looks at everything fairly calling out all these "woke point" seekers and SJWs. I'd really love to hear his take on this whole situation

I... I... How can one person be that dumb? Jesus, he's like a little rat that shits everywhere. I can't even:stress:

anyone else have shanes twitter parts? I've apparently missed them and its too much of a bother to go back and try to find them.

^ This is hillarous. He's been on protect for a bit, and being the complete bitchboy he is makes the threatening tweet in this mode. The complete and total flailing exceptionalism is just amazing.

These soy-filled bitches have all these stereotyped NPC strategies they all do despite them being completely ineffectual, like frogs reeeeing to scare away a predator.

I've never understood the protecting your Twitter thing. What the fuck is that supposed to accomplish? Does Soye really think that's going to stop a subpoena? What the fuck does he think it's going to do? And then what does he think reeeeing pitiable threats from behind his protected Twitter is going to accomplish?

Either it's working (it isn't) and nobody can see it, so why do it, or it isn't working, in which case why protect your Twitter?

I guess there's not much point in trying to understand the mindless activities of someone with a brain like a frog's.

Didn't someone post a tweet from Ron talking about being able to hire security and such in response to Nicks #DenyRIALity tweet? Not sure if that was what shane was talking about he never elaborated when asked...of course. Oops Repentance comes in FTW.

Ron still can't determine what defamation is and what opinion is......

Monica can still do the mini con, KC is Apr 12-14.

Ron still hasn't learned that there is no "we" apparently. Or that you need to be specific about the statement you want retracted.

Or what's this soy sucking little bitch going to do? Cry some more?

Also there is no "we" unless you're married. The status of pathetic cuckold is not a legally recognized one.

As much as I love Nick and appreciate what he does, I don't like how he acts on impulse sometimes. If his source is incorrect, they're gonna get him burnt and give these KickVic-ers an actual reason to cause people to doubt him.

It does help curb KF's weaponized autism, I guess. That just makes Ty more annoyed, though.

Alright.

What I basically got was an rtf document, with seven inline pictures of a half-naked land whale, of indeterminate age (!!!), in various "compromising" positions, while talking dirty about each one to whomever she is sending these to.

This picture of the girl in question is "safe."

Girl signs off with "~Love Always, Ashten."

I dunno if this is usable for anything. For one thing, it can't actually be traced back to Shane based on just what I have. People aren't gonna buy that this was material leaked from Shane's Discord without that.

Secondly, this could easily be a gay op.

Thirdly, it's probably not gonna help Vic directly at all, even if it could be traced back to Shane. At most, it would just be cause for extreme embarrassment for Shane.

I think this is a nothing burger right now, unless something else pops up that affirmatively links it to Shane.

I'll let Nick know though.

Agreed. I think they're gonna have to give us more if they want us to take this seriously.

Mind you, it would not surprise me in the slightest if Shane isn't an angel and is cheating on his wife with young women.

I guess there's not much point in trying to understand the mindless activities of someone with a brain like a frog's.

It's the beauty of stupidity.

Marche, Rial, Toye, Cooke, Loveridge, Kaylyn, all of them, they were probably the dumbasses who slept through class to not digest for a while the idea of "the super information highway". And by that it means anything posted on the internet is on public access, no matter if there are levels for privacy, accessibility, and protections of accounts.

Does anyone remember that episode of Cold Case, where it was about the mystery of that college date rapist who got shot in the head, and the investigators went to the girl's bathroom nearby, and scraped the paint off of the walls to read all of the gossip that accumulated back in the 1980s? It's just like that, only on a technological level. And we've been doing all of the scraping and photographing.

Twitter isn't this "leet private dongle access members only secret forum" where anything you say doesn't have consequences like Usenet or IRC or Darknet. Even for here, everything is out on the open. You can come and see the madness at the internet of mine anytime you want out here, I own that. I don't know about MarzGurl and Monica though. I can't say if they had the braincells to see that through.

This is why parents need to belt their kids from using the computer for social media and why the stupid shouldn't have access to social media platforms. I remember this shit done with MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger in the 2000s, now it's just Twitter and Tumblr in the 2010s, same old shit. It's the extra touch of exceptionalism that gets people thinking what they say has unique weight and cause the ripple to get everyone woke. Unfortunately, everyone exceptional has that thought.

He had addressed this in the stream. Between being a lawyer and understanding vetting all sources are super important, and said it came from 3 completely separate sources.
