She really is exceptional, isn't she?
Her brother's arrest was covered by Florida-based news sites:

And the official website of the Florida Department of Law Enforcement:

As such, this is public knowledge and not a private matter!

In theory that's all public information about him and unrelated to her. Of course she made her relationship to him public when she tried to raise funds for him and also made the nature of the charges public - which undermines her argument that others are violating her privacy.

It was a trap.
Thots do it on a regular to see who bites the bait.
Was making a joke about a seemingly female cosplayer packing a little more protein under the skirt.

I wouldn't even be surprised at this point
With Sarah ... and dating a middle aged man who's with a 16 year old
I keep seeing this, and I still have no clue who this references. Names or links?

Yep, lawyers just whip out their magic wand and zap people into the courtrooms because that's how it goes. These things totally don't take time
"YER A WIZARD PERCY."

He's not saying Nick's his lawyer, he's being stupid enough to call Ty himself a liar. When Ty was on Nick's stream looking at the complaints Nick got, he and Nick joked about how it was nice of Soye to provide his address to Nick so he could pass it along to Ty. He's pretending to miss their joke and saying Ty is liar because he had Soye's address to send the letter.

Soye is so arrogant he's mocking the Beard directly but such a coward he's doing it from behind a protected account.

As if protecting his account can save him from THE BEARD.

To be fair, I think he was referring to Ty, not Nick. I recall Nick saying he had Toye's address due to his bar report, and Ty saying something like, "oh, that would be useful to have."

I disagree. La Choy pretty much tried to defame Nick, as he stated. Nick could sue if La Choy doesn't retract his statement and consequences come of Ron's statements, possibly.

Was it said that Ty wanted his address? Then, I must have missed that.

And then committed a hypocritical public act that was of interest within the community of which she is a legit limited public figure. When she is attacking a colleague using a Listen and Believe Standard, within a week or two of publicly championing her brother using an innocent until proven guilty standard, yeah that is a newsworthy discussion within that limited community and industry.

Nick likely can't, at least not over the false bar report. It depends on the state rules. In a lot of states reports to the bar are protected and are exempt from defamation.

What this stranded Landwhale dosent understand is that the more bullshit she spew the more people are going to donate to the legal WARCHEST just so Ty Beard & his firm can afford to add this putrid blob of human waste to the Lawsuit aswell!
(Do hope they allready have added her)...
Have a feeling that if she all of a sudden stop ranting & raving then we all know she finally have been served her papers.

None of the sites would allow it, but I think it would drive donations if there were stretch goals to hit some of these low-level waste of breath idiots with the legal bat for the pure enjoyment of it rather than because there's any real financial redress to be had. I think the amount of money people would sink into it just knowing that they would have to issue public retractions, apologize, and then shut the fuck up about it forever would be considerable.

I edited the comment to add more, @AnOminous.

My suggestion for cons, both as a frequenter and member of staff: Trust literally no one.

Assume every cosplayer is a thot, assume that your bags will get stolen and travel light, and be aware that sex tourism is the #1 draw for social rejects like Geekdom101's social group to attend.

If you're a cosplayer contestant, have your friend/SO guard your shit and your body with your life.

If you're a ProGamer whose going to cash in at a tournament, bring only your fightstick set-up, enough money for food from outside the confloor, and don't leave your shit behind for any reason unless you have someone with you to retrieve it.

And if you're unlucky/willing to be a member of con logistics, be nice.

90% of almost any and all con-rumors about any event are fabricated or half-truths that originate from something a logistics volunteer/ staff member was witnessed doing -- so just keep your head down, do your job, and try to be nice as much as humanly possible.

You never know who you may be dealing with and who they'll talk to.

Also keep a buddy system going. Have someone able to vouch for your location at all times.

Oh dear god Shane needs to just shut up.

He doesn't watch Nick's streams. I can be dumb, but holy shit.

Ty clearly stated that he knew Funimation would pull an anti-SLAPP, which is why they're writing it to bypass it.

And how did Shane get a copy of what was sent?
Yeah Ty Beard said that was the very first thing they thought of so that wont work for them, hehe!
I think Shane have a deranged need to feel important so he just spew random shit in hope that somebody will think he is something else then a misrable husk of rotten SOY!

I wasn't joking, @OneHandClapping. Traps and Troons regularly do this at conventions because they can get away with it everytime.
GamesDoneQuick is a big offender of allowing this, like every other convention event gone progressive.

Normally, overt PDA is banned on camera and in public spaces where children are present, but they just don't fucking care -- they own the spaces now. You can find video footage of them fucking making out on the couch in recordings for speedruns.

It became a bigger thing after people started integrating mock chests into the cosplay -- they can still get away with flashing because literally no-one wants to deal with the ensuing tantrum.

More reason to why I say Trust Literally No One, especially people in costumed dress.

Do that too.

Ty clearly stated that he knew Funimation would pull an anti-SLAPP, which is why they're writing it to bypass it.

Any chance they had of that succeeding, which was already near zero, completely went out the window with the Kamehacon shenanigans.

An anti-SLAPP is a special motion to dismiss that requires the complaint be outright frivolous on its face, even assuming every factual allegation in it is true, to the extent the defendant should have their legal fees paid by the plaintiff.

No judge in his right mind is going to look at months of defamation and a foot high stack of defamatory per se tweets by a horde of scummy defendants, as well as breached contracts and threats of breached contracts, and say "nope no case here." It's just not going to happen. They'll try it, they'll lose.

Maybe if they'd had the sense to just STFU and quit digging when this all started, that might have had a 0.1% chance of working but that's dead now.

They can keep living in a fool's paradise for a little while, though, emphasis on very, very little while.

I can't even catch up to all this, but I have a 100% feeling this is all due to professional jealousy. Vic was immensely popular, had huge numbers of fans, released a popular movie and drew people to cons and was probably making a decent living off of this. Some actors knew he was a bit handsy and some fans might be put off, so they thought that they could basically just push him aside for their own benefit.

This was nothing more than something to kill his career for personal profit by other VAs. Then you had the professional virtue signalers and virgin betas who will white knight for the ugliest women on the planet to reinforce it.

Now they're all crying about this. But its hilarious, just looking at these people, they're going to turn on each other instantly this gets intense.
