Is this fucker even lying about having kids on an internet forum, or did his kids arrive in the last few months?

The link is pretty bulletproof, RedMercury on NeoGAF was renamed to boredJonthan, and his twitter account directly states he was on GAF till the Tyler Malka harassment accusations. RedMercury isn't that popular an internet name, not to mention a RedMercury on NeoGAF who claims to have dogs and then has his account renamed to boredJonathan.

They're not, that's what caught my attention. boredJonathan almost exclusively talks about games, like most of his NeoGAF account. Very little politics. RedMercuy honestly posts like what a troll account would, the most nonsensical and extreme woke social justice rants Poe's Law can hardly keep up.

Dogs getting an amount of death threats he can't even count, posts about how he doesn't serve Trump supporters in his store and non-stop popping up in every topic about minorities to say he's there to lend a hand. It's too squeaky clean and it comes across like a roleplay account. What a low-T white man would fantasize about.

Given that boredJonathan used to go by the name RedMercury and the one thing boredJonathan mentioned on GAF outside of games was dogs, it seemed like a hit.

So it's either the biggest coincidence ever, tied up in a forum tied to NeoGAF, or RedMercury is boredJonathan's troll account. I will try and keep a log of when both accounts are online, as boredJonathan on Resetera hardly has any posts.

Oh my god I would die laughing if the industry legitimately adopted adding "Journalist Mode" as a difficulty setting to every game, which makes the game as dumb, simple and easy to play as possible, adding cheats like god mode, infinite resources, etc. Plop it right there in the menu above "Easy". Use that "BJ Blankovitz as a Babby" graphic to depict the player for that mode. Hell, adopt a stylized line-art baby icon to display next to it in every game, or maybe a pacifier, as an industry-wide standard.

Please make this a thing, video game industry. Make "journalist mode" synonymous with "can't play games without cheats."

The way I see it, ResetEra are the real ableists here if they're going to argue that people with mental and/or physical disabilities can't play difficult video games and that said video games need to be watered down to make it 'easier' on them. I think Stinkles is torn because if he does make games (which is doubtful given he posts on ResetEra) he knows that ResetEra is being stupid but going against the party line will catch him a ban or worse, get him de-verified.

It wouldn't achieve anything. Even if every game had a walking simulator mode, they'd demand the game play itself and write a review for them, and then presenting a 3 minute video explaining just enough to bullshit their way through a podcast or casual conversation.

Games are inherently about overcoming difficulty to reach a desired goal. If you don't have that you don't have a game. There's always an obstacle to remove, a hurdle to clear. Some genres start some people off at a disadvantage because they require things those people aren't good at or are physically limited in. And there are few things more inspiring, more respectable, more representative of what gaming is and should be than a person who starts lower than the rest of us and still overcomes. I was going to pass this up considering how there's not that many people are talking about this over at ResetEra, but one post was notable enough where I felt the need to post about it here.

I mean sure, there has never been a real life example in the entire history of humanity of socialism working out in the long run and never mind that the flaws of socialism would inevitably lead to Venezuela imploding in the aftermath. But it's somehow the fault of the United States for why Venezuela is burning to the ground while your shitty government that is desperately trying to cling on to power at this point.

One of my personal cows believes the same thing and he's lived in England his entire life. He unironically believes that Venezuela was a perfect socialist paradise, that Chavez was a great leader, and it's America's fault that everything has gone to shit.
