You would never NOT have security at a signing event. By virtue of being well-known enough to be invited to cons she'd be potentially in danger at a public signing even if she weren't embroiled in drama. Remember that youtube singer who was killed a couple years ago? She was doing signing/photos with the fans herself, I believe, and some random guy with an obsessive crush walked up to her and shot her in the face, killing her. What's absurd is that she's somehow 'safer' with
less security at a smaller venue that's easier to get into where less people will be paying attention, filming, and watching her.
See, the fact that he's married, has two kids, and flirts around with his coworkers + cosplay girls is one of the reasons I don't think he's Iago. The personal descriptors Ty used (high voice, unpleasant face + personality, implied weasel appearance, poor luck with the ladies) just don't line up with Sabat. He surely has his hand caught in the cookie jar of kickvic, but I lean toward Igor.

Monica voices Bulma. They really play up the Bulma x Vegeta thing between them for the fans.
As for Kamehacon supporting Monica, I think they're killing her with kindness. They'll come out smelling like roses because they've supported and rolled with Monica's punches despite her obvious unreasonability, they look completely professional and like the better people, and Monica's signing is going to absolutely flop anyway. If they endorse her and wish her well and she still fails, she'll have owned herself. And if Nick is right, they probably have a new contract agreeing not to say anything negative about each other, precluding her from blaming Kamehacon or continuing to say they have poor security/don't care about their goers.
Most likely if she breaks
that, or if people use this as an indication that they can walk all over Kamehacon, then you'll see them strike. They'd be forced to at that point, as it could ruin them completely if they didn't.
