I imagine the poor hobbyshop owner liked the idea of extra traffic with more customers and has no idea what's going on. I'm sure Monica fed him some BS or something about not feeling safe. I also feel for those poor guys who just want to play a card game and could care less about Monica and will just try to be nice cause she's a guest but they'll limit their interactions with her as much as possible.

I can't even imagine traveling 25 miles in a big city because in NYC (the big city I've been to the most) going 10 miles by train takes an hour 15 or hour and a half. (30ish mins by car)

But I think that it was wise of Monica to put it in a comic book shop, when no one comes at least she won't be as bored as she would've been in a cafe. She'll spend more time learning how to play pokemon cards than signing them though.

I pirate or buy secondhand used copies from thrift stores for dubs anyway. ADV dubs >>> FUNimation dubs = Central Park Media dubs in terms of personal enjoyment (Nerima Daikon Brothers is the best dub ADV has ever done second to Ghost Stories, fite me).

I almost exclusively watch dubs, Which is honestly why I even care. I like the voice work of Monica and Vic. Even Jamie, Wiedenheft, etc.

I just kills me that this is happening.
