Why the fuck would THE CON announce another panel involving Todd if he were contractually obligated to do only one?

That makes absolutely no sense. This wasn't some impromptu thing. This was on the damn website. Somebody pulled the Google cache.
The undisputed thing gleaned from all this, that even Monica cops to, is that she very much didn't want to be on the same panel as Todd. So even if we buy her bullshit that she tried to remove herself, that seems to imply she's running scared.

What I'm less clear about is whether she's scared of Todd, or whether she's scared of the fact that Ty represents both Todd and Vic. I think she'd love to put up a front alleging the former, but it's probably the later.

Hold on. Does the Google cache say what panels Todd was supposed to attend before he was removed from the panel with Rial? Is it possible that his contract didn't specify which panel he needed to attend and could switch it up as he liked?

It could be possible that the story time event he had wasn't planned until he was kicked out of the Rial panel. Unless he had both those events in place before.

I'm just trying to explore all options to make sure that this doesn't make sense.

I don't fucking buy it either. Zenkaicon had Todd on the panel before it was set to happen, meaning that they contracted him to be on the panel along with the story time session. They knew he was coming to the panel; why did they remove him at the last moment?

Also, Nick tweeted this:

Could Todd be a liability right now?
Who knows. Odd though that he wouldn't even provide a simple yes or no to Nicks query re: being removed from a panel on Monicas say so.

Where does nick say this ? Link ?
I think i missed this one.

iirc, it was the later half of him chatting with the Bubba Fest guy. That only got commented because I forgot to delete it when I commented about something else later but yeah, Nick straight up got heavy hint about the Vic stuff.

I think he's chomping at the bit to yammer about it but is a.) waiting for confirmation and b.) waiting for the most advantageous time to blabber which will probably be AFTER summons are served

The Google cache says that Todd was supposed to be on that VA panel with Monica and (I believe) two other people. It's from the con's own website. Rekieta posted it when he was last accused of being a liar about this. Coupled with the video of the panel that shows he wasn't there, and the change to the website, we know something happened that got him booted.

As to Monica's story that the con removed him of their own volition because he was supposed to do only one panel, I have my doubts. I guess it's technically possible, but the main thing is that her own words confirm she chimped out, in typical Monica fashion, over having to share space with somebody representing by Ty. I trust Nick's source over Monica, TBH.

Are Monica and Ron panicking because they heard that nick claimed that the lawsuits are going to be filed Monday?
These are pretty balatant lies, even by their standards. It only takes a simple Google search to find out each statement they made today is full of crap, and then Ron making these weird attempts to """fix the community""" with Vic
It just seems like they are panicking

Well, here's Ron's statement:

Huh, does he no longer trust his previous source or am I misremembering which con had the source that mentioned Monica had Todd removed from?
He may be trying to get multiple sources or a source closer to the decision making part.

There's a difference between lying and being a useful idiot that propagates the lies of others-- and that's assuming that this isn't the usual round of bravado. Like, what is he even saying? Even if a lawsuit isn't scary, why would anyone welcome getting themselves and their bank accounts both ground in the gears of justice?

Soye is an absolute idiot. Tortious interference has nothing whatsoever to do with whether you've lied or whether you have something to hide. You should be worried about a tortious interference lawsuit if you've broken the law and committed tortious interference.

He may be trying to get multiple sources or a source closer to the decision making part.

Or, he may have new things he needs to confirm.

I don't think he distrusts the source he has in Zenkaikon. It took several days of the "Monica got Todd kicked off his panel" story to circulate before she even decided to touch it today, and in that time, neither Todd nor even Zenkaikon came to her defense.

Even if the biggest plot twist happens and Vic turns out guilty as a dog, Ron Soye still walks away from this looking like an utter toolbag.

I honestly believe Soye has mental issues. He even has the crazy eyes thing in his pictures.

Yeah, but all nu-males have that-- that's not remarkable given what we know about Boy Toye (like the fact that his blood is literally-- not figuratively, literally-- La Choy soy sauce).
