I wonder if the immense hate from that is also upsetting to Toei

EDIT: Wait, I think I'm getting this guy mixed up with the Perfection video a page back, but the Dragon Ball fandom (especially on YouTube) is so broken I don't know who to even trust with information at this point. Tbh, I wasn't even going to support Funi for this release. I mean, it's nostalgic AF but their business practices are shitty and shady. Just find a HQ torrent for the series or buy the kai sets. They're more accurate dubs to the manga anyway

I still don't think they'll understand it. It's something on paper, which won't seem real to them. It's just some weird boomer thing they won't accept as real.

Why does the name "Unlikely Beard" tickle me so.

A beard was seen as a symbol of royal prestige in ancient Egypt. So much so the female pharaoh Hatsheput had herself depicted with one in official artwork.

I have no doubt, however, the awesome of the Primarch of the Imbeardium has descended to his daughter without the need for a physical symbol, such power needs no tangible presence to bring the light of judgment to the legal heathen.

Credit where it's due. We might make fun of Monica for being 4th Bulma, but she has a mountain of anime to her name, and staff jobs, too. Even if she doens't have any iconic roles on the level of Edward Elric or Broly, sheer volume means she should have a good amount of money.
