Now for those of you who don't know the original 4:3 ratio has been in demand by the DragonBall community for quite literally a decade so everyone was excited for it. However, they announced that they are only giving around a limited amount of copies and the price tag for it was expensive as shit for a whopping $350. Whats even worse is that they are, for what is essentially e-begging, asking for 3,000 backers for a project that haven't even seen release and samples or preview material of.

Why is everyone demanding to see sample footage? It's Funimation, the largest and well-known western anime company. Surely they will deliver, right?
No.
Funimation has had a habit of years of fucking over fans (especially the hardcore ones) of promising to deliver the 4:3 aspect ratio without any fucked up distortions to the original footage. In the previous years they have attempted at this several times and just shit out a bunch of rush releases into the public and of course each time they get the same complaints. So the community went apeshit and wanted Funimation to release some sort of sample footage first before they put their money into it so they did. Lo and behold unsurprising to fuckin no one they release same if not near identical footage they used with the previous dvd/blue-releases. This further drove people to an autistic-fulled rage.
So I know what you're thinking? Funimation stopped the project and and apologize to their fans.....

Several Funimation staff (whom of which are unsurprisingly filled with Dangerhairs and Soyboys) on their discord servers started to bitch back at the community for all the complaints and criticism they were getting.

I missed some parts of this thread, but I seem to recall Amber's only real crime was a conversation with Monica and an "I stand with victims" statement that wasn't particularly inflamatory. Adding her to the Doxedex wasn't the best choice for optics as it essentially makes a martyr of her over something pretty trivial, unless I missed something more that she was accused of.

She was comfortable taking photos with him back during the Broly promo tour. It's not like anyone would've forced her to be in the same room with him.

Why would he want his friends to have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on defending themselves in court?
Does he not understand that it's irrelevant how many other people/businesses/media outlets said the same thing. They're not defendants and don't have to establish the truth of their statements.
