You prune the tree, so the roots will grow strong, while documenting the trimmings.

When people question you on why you block someone out, you present them with the trimmings that is the toxicity they wrought from another hobby, and summarily continue to stonewall them.

Look to Wil Wheaton being ejected from Mastodon and the popular social circle of Twitter for a good visual aid.

Discs aren't dying, 4K is growing stronger in it's adoption than BD adoption was. We just don't have two vastly older formats dying RIGHT AS 4K is coming out, like we did with DVD, and DVD has managed to hang on thanks to the "It's good enough" crowd of idiots companies still pander too. The fact we've had "digital" since the 90's, and (in Japan at least) High Def since the late 80's/early 90's, and Discs are STILL superior.....

I think if Sabat is on the losing end of legal trouble Toei will kill that dub. He's too involved with the day-to-day to just remove him and it's not like the other actors aren't speds. Dragon Ball fan autists will REEEEE about a complete recast, but it's happened before.

Toei can release DB themselves. They've had an office in Commiefornia for 15 years. They dubbed and released the new Digimon movies. The only reason they don't do everything themselves is because their US operations are small. They had to contract out the DVD manufacturing of those Digimon movies to Shout Factory. The dub (which Mignogna was in) was recorded by a studio in LA. They don't even need to burn all bridges with Funimation. Just change dubbing studios out of Texas. Maybe go back to the leafs since Sabat's autism reaches LA. Schemmel lives there and will probably drop an IRL threat to whoever voices Goku next.

American autism convinced Konami and Nintendo to dub Yugioh and Pokemon themselves. If there was ever a chance for Toei to bulk up their US business, now would be it.

Funny you should mention that. There already exist an LA dub of Super, recorded at Bang Zoom studios; among others in the cast were Lex Lang (Kenshiro) as Goku and Wendee Lee (Faye Valentine) as Bulma. I figure if it does get recast, they’d bring back the LA crew.

Part of this can be blamed on the fact that my industry (Acting, as a whole, but provably dogma and gospel in VA and screenwriting credits) thrives and is wholly promoted and made in very progressive liberal blue states and social circles.

We talked about it before in concerns to myself —

In show business, you have to tow a specific political line publicly to stay in show business, or at least, stay out of it and focus on your work;

Places like Texas and Georgia are becoming the NY/LA of the central and southeastern seaboard states, and not just locations where shows are filmed on location for cheap chick flicks about Dixieland or "The Dirty South", but down in the ditch 50/50 or outright Red states — and the people living in those states don't buy this #KickVic bullshit sobstory for a second.

#KickVic think because they exposed and performed the equivalence of the 14 words, that they'll be protected and forgiving, but it's the opposite:

Because they drank the Kool-Aid and went all-in, they're the first ones that'll be offered up by the industry to save the collective skins of lame-ass talent like Karbowski, Conners, Wide'nheft, and Gayboy Mills.

Everyone may have stabbed Vic and Todd with knives, but they're the ones everyone can publicly see doing it.
