It's a bit more than that.You can't. You let nature take it's course and find another pastime until your hobby reasserts itself once SJWs/NPCs/the control-Left overreaches and the fandom resets the board and cleans house. It will be a different thing. Maybe better, maybe worse.
It's a shit reality but it's reality.
Step one is obvious:

Which distinguishes anime from everything else that has been ruined.
Step two requires determination, perseverance, and dignity:
You prune the tree, so the roots will grow strong, while documenting the trimmings.
When people question you on why you block someone out, you present them with the trimmings that is the toxicity they wrought from another hobby, and summarily continue to stonewall them.
