Regarding SweetNicole.

Some in this thread were supposedly right. SweetNicole didn't resign because of a lack of time. Rumours are that some of their "problematic" members have been harassed violently recently. Their workplace have been mail/phone bombed. It already happened in the past, the problem is this time, most of those dumb harassers were quite close to that BittersweetNicole. He knew and let it happen. If the rumours are correct, he even gave away the mail adress with the idenity of those problematic members himself.

Apparently, SweetNicole was a true powercreep that appeared from strictly nowhere and most of the other moderators went into faggot mode in front of him. Basically, the forum owner doesn't give a shit as long as the money goes in. SweetNicole is deciding almost everything behind the curtains. One of their admin leaked this stuff on a special era discord. It's either him or someone who got access to this account (probably the last). I still have trouble to think he's not a full sweaty soyboy and a dumb SJW that would call out SweetNicole like that.

As far as I know, there are many little "Resetera" Discord. They have a Nintendo shills discord with some admin asking if they should ban X or Y members because they spoke ill about their favourite company. It's one of the biggest and most organized discord around with strict rules. 1/2 of their most active members are in this discord. They organize "report bombing" with the consent of one of the Era Admin, it's also really difficult to get in without being "approved". They have a "Sony" discord in the same vein, but it's much smaller and doesn't have "ban requests" like in the Nintendo's one. They also have a kind of secret black community discord (they talk a lot about Kiwi farms and this thread). There's a SweetNicole discord and a Morrigan discord, in which you have to bend the knee to those two or be banned. And of course, there's the infamous Resetera admin discord, where most of the ban and warning decisions are decided. That's where SweetNicole went into full powercreep mode.

We know that they have their discords and we know of Morrigan's because it was openly admitted to the other day. We also know SweetNicole probably banned more people than anyone else, covered up shit MiraculousSwidge used to do on the forums and routinely upset the PC gamers with bans. SweetNicole was not well liked by anyone.

Without some proof about the mail bombing, it's not that we cannot believe it, but it's just going to be unsubstantiated. Obviously stepping down due to time was lies. It seemed it was because of the MW2 boycott bullshit, but that is probably the last thing in a long line of issues with SweetNicole. The writing was on the wall from week one.

Besada used to contact employers of NeoGAF members he didn't like if they had signed up with a work email that identified where they worked. I would not be surprised to hear of Resetera doing something similar, or at least sharing account details amongst the discords to hunt down people they do not like. This is why no one should feel remorse for sharing publicly findable information on these lolcows. They do it themselves, even if it is in their discord channels.

By all means, take time to cover up your sources, but sharing info, while appreciated, leaves a bad taste if you withhold the evidence.

I'm not surprised to see SweetNicole being power hungry to climb up the ranks to be in a higher position of power on their stupid forum.

It's also not that surprising to me to see the ResetEra mods and admins are running a stupid Kraut and Tea-styled 24/7 'Gay Ops' over at Discord and if you know anything about Kraut and Tea and what would lead to his downfall then you know that Discord is the last place that one wants have your stupid 'Gay Ops' to target individuals that one doesn't like. The downfall of Kraut and Tea happened when he got too egotistical and stuff from his Discord got leaked out that ruined his reputation. Whatever else that the ResetEra mods and admins are trying to hide from everyone else on their Discord servers and DMs, I'm sure there's plenty of information that can truly destroy their reputations because stuff like that will eventually get leaked and we will find out one way or another.
