Wait, nerd cons don't mail out guest passes beforehand? My ConExpo attendee pass is always mailed out at least a month early. I've had guest pass for a local machinery show through my dealer and that gets mailed to me from the showrunners aswell.
those Nerd cons are pretty badly run and there is not much money behind it.

Just FYI, based on my prior con experience, a guest pass isn't always just given to Guests of Honor (GoH). They usually give it to family members of the GoHs and anybody else the GoH wants to have one. So it could possibly be somebody who is indeed at the con right now. It doesn't have to be Monica's unused one.

Beard is tchnically not a GoH, but he probably got his guest pass on request of Vic.

It would be interesting if they are numbered (most badges are), and they trace where which batch it came from.

Depends on the con. Some do. Some don't.

I'm going with one of Geekdoms faggots (probably that Drake guy) picking up a pass Friday and taking it to the yugioh tournament for Dom to pick up

There was SJWs in the Kenshin fandom? I assumed all the SocJus types were holed up in the Sailor Moon fandom.

Ooooohhhh yeahhhuuuhhh bruuthhherrr. They were all about gayshipping and the fujoshis who can't let go of their extremism of buttfucking whom or whom. Too bad they missed out on the aesop of forgiveness and to give others another chance even after beating the evil out of them within an inch of their lives.

Sailor Moon and SocJus types going hand in hand? To be fair, all of the SJW hardcores were usually the fans who hardcore made self inserting power fantasy Mary Sue fanfiction with Sailor Senshi powers and using them to mercilessly brutalize anyone messing with them in reality. Anyone I've met who liked Sailor Moon sanely were level headed and accomplished people who liked the girl power aspect of it without gorging soy, showcasing irrational desires for male circumcision, and projecting their bullshit onto people.

Wasn't the Nobuhiro Watsuki thing a nothingburger in the end, which is why his career didn't really end? I heard the DVDs were Joch Sturges tier stuff that wouldn't be illegal in the US, just kinda creepy.

I can believe that. Dunning-Kruger is running high on Twitter.

Real talk though, can we all just appreciate how St. Vic just stays guapped in fashion and poise?
-chef kiss-
We have yet to see him have a case of wardrobe miscommunication or malfunction.

For fuck's sake, Vic can even be Yoshikage Kira for a live action movie of Diamond is Unbreakable. Give this man a deal ASAP.

Am I the only person that hated Kenshin BEFORE the writer turned out to be a pedo? That show was absolutely awful.

It's one of the few anime I've actually rage quit. A friend tried to get me to watch it with him and we got to like the second to last season. Then Kenshin started projecting his own problems onto other people in a way that made me think the writer was not aware of how hypocritical the dialog was.

Was it the one about that bandaged guy who was set on fire and Ken had to go to Kyoto/out west? Or was it the one about a Christian samurai, or the one about a freemason group trying to find the elixir of immortality? I didn't even get into the whole feng shui wizard and his domination conspiracy. I at least liked it.... Those I heard were also based on side story novellas the creator's wife wrote as well.

Never seen it. Too many fucking episodes. I do seem to recall it was pretty popular in the late 90s though.

Wasn't this one of the mainstays of 2000s anime popularity? I can even find old Angelfire and Geocities hosted fansites for Kenshin.

Maybe in just a retarded little bitch but how to people REALLY discern talent in japanese va's? I just truly find it hard to cross that language barrier.

She jutts her jaw out to hide the overbite she has, the end result is the look of some one who just gambled on a fart and lost but is trying to play it off.

Keep them coming, the thread will move slower now that it's divided up and we need more wholesome content.
That was funny.

It could be any number of dropouts: TrailerDrake, Josh Grelle, or even Monica herself.

It's complicated

Sailor Moon is about 14 year old girls in mini skirts with panty shots and various fanservice scenes where they obsess over things like fashion and wanting to bone hunky guys. By all accounts, it's something SJWs should dislike, but they stan it because Uranus and Neptune are gay, and that arc of the show was directed by Ikuhara (Utena is also big with SJWs, despite again, underage sexualized girls but lesbians so it's ok)

So basically since for about 30 episodes there were gay characters, that makes the whole 200 episode series woke. Although most of them dont even talk about anything but those 30 episodes.

It couldn't be Monica's pass. For it to be Monica's pass she would have had to show up on Friday to get a guest pass like everyone else. Her showing up would be her essentially caving in to Kamehacon, and she wouldn't have that.

What likely happened is Dominique asked a staffer for a pass under the promise of...anything...and they gave it.
You don't think it could've been Sabat's pass do you?

Nick will briefly talk about KamehaCon on tonight's stream. Probably about Cosplay Thot's attempted Gay Op.

Guest Pass not a day pass. Big difference. Would have had to come from someone who put in a submission and get it approved. Typically given to friends/family of people @ the con.

It could also be Sabat (for example). Again, it could be a comped guest pass from somebody who actually did show as a GoH.

It doesn't have to be a dropout.

I'm interested to know where she got it, and I'm sure KC is too. It's 99% certain they confiscated it when they tossed her. "Pulling your badge" is time-honored con lingo.

Lol, that shit. Yeah, there we go. I'm getting old, fuck.... Man, the SJWs will also get their minds blown that guys also like Sailor Moon too. Hope they don't go backstabbing and renouncing the series just for that. I mean, it's not like they eventually find everything problematic if they can't shape it like a pet to stuff in their purses....

That's right, wasn't there some fandom wars in the 90s where DBZ and Sailor Moon's US fandoms all had like this stupid "you're making anime look bad because your series is shit/too masculine/feminine" debacle?

Also, I never knew I was the King of Pickles!

Maybe in just a exceptional little bitch but how to people REALLY discern talent in japanese va's? I just truly find it hard to cross that language barrier.

Stuff is about how well emotions and moods get conveyed. It's not the words but how you say them and that can make or break characters or whole shows. It may take some time to get used to it. But most who watch subs don't really understand the language either apart from some staple words.
