We do not speak of that thing, not anymore.
I meant "no" as in "not if it's something I'd like (good) porn of".Yes.

God, I wish Prokopetz would shut up.I meant "no" as in "not if it's something I'd like (good) porn of".

"Not being stereotypically masculine is actually super masculine."
That's a take.
"Geek" has an exclusively negative connotation as a weak, wimpy, dorky, virgin guy who spends all his time painting miniatures. He's confusing "geek" with "intellectual". Intellectuals are supposed to be cultured and sophisticated, knowing the difference between two sequential years of wines and which to serve with what cut of beef based on the cow's psychological state when it was slaughtered. Geeks, even at their best, drink Tab straight from the can with the Chinese takeout they don't even taste while they tinker with their computer hardware at the table.
But intellectuals get wound up in largely irrelevant intricacies and tend to act like they're better than the rest of us. Geeks are just guys who don't need to be king; they just want to make tech stuff their life and are mostly harmless (except for the unlicensed portable nuclear accelerator they build in the basement, but they mean well). Thus, geeks are fashionable now; "intellectuals" are not.
Too bad Prokopetz doesn't have the humility to be a real geek.

my students watch PewDiePie
whenever they say a phrase or word that is hurtful I pull them aside and explain the history of that word, why it can’t be used like r*t*rd*d or that’s so g*y or calling zuckerburg a lizard they are...sellerofqualitykazoos.tumblr.com
Not gonna lie, Patreon and National Geographic aren't actually known for being community websites (you can argue that Patreon does have communities, but there's more emphasis on patronage than community-building), while the others are almost unheard of.This isn't exactly a random Tumblr post (though I'm sure there have been many random Tumblr posts on the subject), but apparently Tumblr has been nominated for an award for best internet community. It's currently in first place as well.
Personally I'm not sure how a website whose userbase harrassed a girl into attempting suicide over drawings of cartoon characters and will create a call out post on you if you so much as don't think mayonnaise is a gender got nominated for best community but here we are.
National Geographic has the Your Shot community, but they really only care about the cream of the crop amateur photographers on there (the kind that are pretty much on the waitlist for a job at NatGeo) so I wouldn't really call it better than tumblr either. Also I'm fairly certain that by posting there you sign off exclusive rights to NG for your pictures. Not gonna lie, Patreon and National Geographic aren't actually known for being community websites (you can argue that Patreon does have communities, but there's more emphasis on patronage than community-building), while the others are almost unheard of.
Tons of bots that the staff refuses to get rid of.This isn't exactly a random Tumblr post (though I'm sure there have been many random Tumblr posts on the subject), but apparently Tumblr has been nominated for an award for best internet community. It's currently in first place as well.

passionate caring community
Maybe they all should stop and consider, for a second, that there is the reason all those cute, lovable, popular comics are written by "problematic" people

I think its weird that this person is positioning their argument as if the only people who don't think is a big deal as they do are people with "no skin in the game". "All people who disagree with me are male" is pretty easy to prove wrong. Though the "men trying to control women's bodies" narrative has always been pretty stupid-women are anti-abortion at a similar rate to men.I'm pro-choice as shit and who fuckin' cares unless he's standing outside of clinics and harassing women on their way in?
