These aren't the papers, though. These are letters that they're required to send the defendant before they can file the lawsuit. After they file the lawsuit, then they'll have to serve it, and that's typically done by a process server (although someone posted that it can also be done by mail in Texas).

What makes this mental image better is if you remember that it sounds like the Amazons do a lot of the deposition. In particular an amazong one that straight up threatened to end the other lawyer who kept calling her little girl in open court.
