They did this against a contractor who did a shitty job and they catalogued every single issue with photographs into a slideshow. By issue 4 the guy was still sitting relatively confident, by 104 he'd slumped onto the desk.

They had in excess of 200 such issues catalogued and ready to continue hitting them with.

The lawyer immediately began to talk settlement deals.

The whole point is, as said, PR and psychological warfare. If you're making the other side slowly die inside, imagine what it'd do to a jury or a judge? As you have to stand there and go through all 400 of these tweets before them, showing every instance of the shit spewed?

They're going to want to give you the death penalty even if its not an option in the case in hand. They're going to fucking hate your guts before your lawyer even stands up to try and defend your soy chugging ass.

You overwhelm them in information or examples to ensure that only one story is told, in this case the truth.

This is even more reason to hate the other side -- this is the effect they were attempting to go for by manipulating the public.

This is a problem in any big creative effort. The scary thing IME has been that it doesn't always get better as you move up the scale, basement studio or corporate facility. Things like recording an album or making a film are group efforts by necessity and industries that used to be lean mean meritocratic machines are now full of weak links because our learning institutions have been handing out participation trophies and lowering the standards for selected minorities since the 1990s. I'm not making this up, either. Your boi Zack has some great diatribes on how the composition of various teams at comic book companies went to shit because of diversity hires and inexperienced YA darlings.
The struggle is real. Imagine you're with 4 other people on something media related and only 2 of you are competent. The other one has rich parents who donated him into colleges and internships and the fourth one's good, but clearly punching way above her weight because she or here has been placed in your group for the sake of optics. Or because they know the client/boss. You end up doing the work of two & paid for one so is it any wonder that your collective output is passionless drivel or simply of shit tier quality?

This is true to my experience.

You're working in a closed loop of dangerhairs, Karens, Melonies, and otherkin peacocks who stare at you with squirrelly glances expecting every word out of your mouth to be feminist compliant.

Everyone in your classes leading up to your job is trying to use you, to the point you need to booby-trap your project files with spoiler code that has your professional watermark;

And, the sharks of the bunch will use anything -- and I mean anything to get the talented people to do the work for them so they can play politics on Twitter.
