I'm beginning to think he might be autistic in addition to being stupid.

He literally doesn't understand why people find his incredibly creepy behavior and his self incriminating statements horrifying. It doesn't make any sense to him because he doesn't understand social norms to the extent they can't even be explained to him.

That's probably why A-Kon distanced themselves from this creep. He couldn't be made to behave normally enough even for the anime community.

See, this reflects the difference in our world views. I just assume autistic until proven otherwise. So far I’m batting 1000. I mean his very act of going on Nick’s stream to prove he knew more about the law than a lawyer was so fucking exceptional that it had to be Autism. People who are simply stupid generally have enough common sense to know it. It takes a true autist to be as fucking retarded as Shane, and believe their own shit.

If @Not A Bug 's appearances on Hero Hei's streams are mostly fact-based (and I have no reason to doubt that), Shane's too weird for the anime community behavior extends to substituting a hearty tit grab where a handshake might be customary

It's honestly amazing that Shane is trying to pull wool over anyone's eyes on Twitter. The only people who talk to him are either on the farms, watch Nick's streams, or both. And anyone in those groups knows just how full of shit he is.

It was clear that there were leaks to conventions from Funimation employees before any official announcements from them. Nick reiterated this literally last night. And Vic is an independent contractor, but Funimation is run by fuck ups and they put a tweet stating that it was cause of an internal investigation that he was fired due to sexual harassment.

He has to have some kind of humiliation fetish. There is no other explanation as to why he likes to be laughed at publicly.

Nah, the Funi statement didn't explicitly say that Vic was fired due to sexual harassment. As Ty pointed out, though, the Funi statement was phrased in a manner which would lead a reasonable person to infer that Vic was fired for bad/unacceptable behaviour.

You're right, they didn't say sexual. But yes that was my main point that everyone knows what that follow up tweet implies. Funimation had no reason to do that second tweet. I'd say if they didn't they'd be safe from lawsuits. But given the rumblings of what they've been doing behind the scenes, they were gonna caught with something. It just happened much sooner.
