We know Ty Beard is hitting Toye for over 400 individual defamatory tweets. Each and every one of them will have to be examined and defended by Toye's lawyer. At a rate of likely $500/hr. $50,000 won't even begin to cover it. And who's gonna toss crowdfunding funds at Soy Toye? He's nobody! He's just some asshole who doesn't know when to shut up on twitter. And neither Vic nor Ty Beard have any particular reason or incling to be merciful with this fucker considering what he has tried to pull on both of them.

That's true. He doesn't have spousal privilege and that could be something that can work in Ty's favor. This isn't a criminal case. There are no plea deals/sentences involved.

What everyone will be trying to do is minimise the amount of damages for which they're liable, but the only way any of them are going to see the inside of a cell is if it's for contempt of court.

It's not a criminal case yet. Give them some time, maybe they'll upgrade it.

You guys have to be careful with that since Texas still has common law marriage, and they already meet two prongs of the 3 prong test, all they have to do now is call each other husband and wife and at that moment they're legally married per Texas Law

They can't be common law married until they actually call each other husband and wife, and if they start doing it now, I believe someone else said that's only really going to protect them from stuff starting at the moment they call each other husband and wife. Couldn't really cover it retroactively very far since they insist on using fiance now.
