In any event, Nick just confirmed he'll know the second its filed. So don't worry. We now know it's in Tarrant, and Tarrant doesn't seem to be very SJW friendly, regardless of whether they're going through the county or District court.



We have JP courts for small claims, evictions, ect., and municipal courts for minor criminal violations. So we're not super simple.

What we don't have is a separate county and district systems. That's all one thing called Superior Court (e.g. "In the Superior Court of Arizona, in and for the County of X").

There's just an added layer with the Civil/District courts. There's also a special court of last resort just for criminal appeals.

If it's being filed directly in one of the DISTRICT courts within Tarrant County, and that website won't show it, there may some other databases we can check.

They can, only if it's found jurisdiction isn't in Texas, otherwise it will all be held there.

Yeah especially due to how for civil matters $200-$10,000 all three county courts have concurrent jurisdiction.

I think the only way they could is if Tarrant doesn't have jurisdiction, and I think Ty is way too competent to file something in a court that didn't have jurisdiction.
