I remember Digi mentioning it on Twitter and then later mentioning it on I think some video though they never before stated Digi called her parents then called the cops, but I feel he did mention he was so out of it due to the drug binge.

It's fascinating when you delve into The Procrastinators (Digibros group of friends). I would say that the biggest lolcows within that group are probably Jesse and Ben Saint.

Jesse seems to actually have SOME talent, he just has an insanely low level of self esteem and is quite fragile. Of course - what else would you expect from an aging Brony with no life skills who leeches off his parents and lives in their basement. Jesse barely updates his content and when he does it's never consistent in what it's about or in quality. Because he has yet to be consistent about anything he has never found success on YouTube despite Digibro constantly trying to send his 300k subscribers in Jesses direction. Jesse constantly complains about YouTube and the algorithm despite having MORE opportunities than most to grow his channel.

Ben Saint is a NEET by choice. He graduated college with an undergraduate degree in physics, traveled to Poland and taught English. The problem with Ben is that he is too autistic to participate in society like a normal person (see his brother BestGuyEver). He would much rather leech off of his friends and family than earn a living in a normal way. he cloisters himself away within his Discord servers, his twitter and produces content at a literal snails pace. His comics are nothing special and he streams twitch to his paypigs.

It creeps me out that Digibro and Ben Saint were giving Munchy (a highschool student) a hard time about deciding to go to college. Both Digibro and Ben Saint complained about not having money recently, despite Digibro (at the time) getting $3000 per month and ad revenue he had massively overextended himself by renting a huge house in Boston and having two jobless dependents. Ben Saint similarly is essentially fucked if he needs healthcare, has no savings and no real path to success.

The most pragmatic (and kiwifarms self insert) BestGuyEver has repeatedly tried to tell Munchy to get an education. He is also rumored to be one of the The Procrastinators who voted to have Mumkey Jones stay in the group. Mumkey leaving was a massive setback to the Procrastinators as they took a huge hit to their reputation, notoriety and they missed out massively on benefiting from the flow on growth from Mumkeys channel growth. Mumkey ended up getting banned from YouTube yet still has a bunch of fans who listen to his podcasts (recorded with Rustycage and Emplemon who are bigger than the PCP) and Asterios Kokkinos from the Dick Show.

The best argument against this guy is to say "Wait, you're a grown man who watches my little pony. What the fuck would you know about anything?"



It's disingenuous bc Dick is a comedian, not a political thinker, and has never marketed himself that way. I love the guy, but he's never thought about politics beyond "well I like doing drugs and hate paying taxes, so that's what society should be". Compared with a logic sperg like destiny whose only pursuit in life is to obsess about leftism online, of course he'll be out of his element.

If its just comedy then why try and take it seriously and actually defend it against someone who isn't just fucking around though? It'd be one thing if he stuck to his purview of triggering drunk mid-western moms but why step into that arena at all? Makes you wonder how much the joke became real.

I wouldn't say Jesse entirely leeches off his parents and family since he has spoken before that he has used his Youtube money to support his mom and sick sister. Although, now that Jesse is homeless and traveling around who knows what is in store now that he and his family need to find places to live.

A lot of this is him having a very similar attitude as Digi where they value being very distant and strive to be unique or rarities within society thus seeking anyway to develop and succeed through unconventional means no matter what scummy tactics they may use.

That podcast was honestly sickening. In the position of Munchy you are talking to people you respect and admire who you are friends with, and two of them are quick to jump the gun and push down your throat that you will be in debt and thus will be unhappy for the rest of your life. Munchy mentioned he wanted to be in an environment and community where people have similar goals, or aspirations, Ben tells him he can just search online and get roommates with online friends. Munchy says he wants to have a roommate he knows nothing about to have an experience of developing that kind of relationship and challenge himself, Ben tells him he can just go on craigslist or some shit. Munchy says he wants direct access to resources and career opportunities tied to his goals at his fingertips with professors around to share their wisdom, and Ben says Munchy could just use the internet for all his resources and his wasting money. Digi agreed with a lot of these points, but at least Nate saw Munchy was very passionate about going to college and had goals and a path he wanted to take in life. What a group of "friends."

I dont know how these guys could come out of recording this episode thinking they sounded good. Loli Lover Digi has the audacity to try to make Rebeltaxi out as some kind of rapey creep because of some in-joke about goth girls. Digi and this other dude howl like maniacs because of minor things like it slipped RebelTaxi's mind that there was an Adams Family TV show before there were movies. Or because one of them said people around their age generally know All Star by Smash Mouth because of Digimon Movie or Shrek instead of something else. Digi ranted for like five minutes because one of the hosts said "You don't remember [x]?" but then when All Star comes up he unironically blows up like "YOU DON'T REMEMBER RAT RACE, YOU UNCULTURED SWINE??????????" Also Rat Race didn't even come out until months after The Digimon Movie and Shrek and did like 1/6 of what Shrek pulled at the box office (thanks google) so of fucking course it's not gonna be the first thing most people think of when they hear Smash Mouth. That's gotta be the most absurd and desperate reach for nerd cred I've ever seen.

I guess it's also interesting to know that Digi campaigning to get Bardock Obama disinvited from Crunchyroll Expo over transphobia was 100% virtue signaling instead of the 90% I thought it was. Digi acknowledges that one of the hosts is a transwoman at the beginning but then proceeds with the other host to refer to her as male for the rest of the episode.

Oh and also interesting to confirm that the PCP joke of starting a drama war with the Rebel Taxi Podcast wasn't really a joke as much as it was poorly disguised bitterness because hoo boy I swear he's been kinder to people who publicly accused him of being a pedophile.

It's ironic as he himself stated in 2017 that he is not interested in becoming a cult of personality type youtuber, while his move actually cements his trajectory as such. The ironic thing is that his core brand is anime and all his other ventures into music or video game content have flopped miserably already due to either lack of knowledge, discipline, marketing mismanagement or being utterly shit at something.

Based on his actions, I can see him trying to bring back more music content and psuedo-intellectual shit like analyzing different mediums and ways of thinking. Maybe do things on business tactics and sales like he planned with How They Marketed. Overall, I highly anticipate for any new venture to not bring in the same amount of views because he is terrible at constructing solid opinions outside of anime and even in anime he has some very bad takes like with Steins;Gate 0. The only thing really keeping him afloat right now is the rants for his patreon, but I do not think that is sustainable for a long enough period of time. In 4 days when he starts rolling out the new content we shall see, but one thing I know from watching Digi is, even when he says he can provide something his viewers didn't know they wanted or he is giving the viewers exactly what they want, he almost always misses the mark and complains his viewers are appreciating his work or don't even know what they want when they ask for certain things.
