Weeb Wars / AnimeGate / #KickVic / #IStandWithVic / #vickicksback - General Discussion Thread

A thought occurs: Rial has been saying that the investigation was private, but the io9 article briefly discusses the investigation and how it was inconclusive, without discussing a subsequent investigation.

If it was a private investigation, why would io9 be able to talk about it?

You know the phrase "Clutching at straws"? Rial's on her knees scraping at the bare concrete wondering why her fingers are getting bloodier and bloodier.

Monica also initiated the incident herself. If she hadn't waited eight years to even "report" it, one would even suspect it was a deliberate setup.

David Dreger of Rooster Teeth committed suicide after a sex scandal, although it appears he was actually guilty of what he was accused of, and RT covered it up instead of exposing him.

So the people behind this certainly knew that was a possible outcome, and they went and faked up a scandal like this anyway.

That's why they're being sued.

You can even tell from the silhouette that this guy is a giant soy-filled bitch with a Nazi undercut. Why did SJWs decide they liked that cut anyway? They look like Richard Spencer.
I guess that way it's easier to spot them in public and punch them in the face.

I'm still confused as to whether there was one investigation or two.

The io9 article stated that they found that there was an investigation back in the summer of 2018, before the recording of Broly, that was inconclusive. When asked to talk about the January/February investigation, they redirected the journalist back to the tweet they made about Vic's termination.

It is interesting why they can't give details about this new investigation but gave details about the summer investigation.

I smell an unlikely ally in Ty's future
If Ty can somehow convince both Toei and Sony that by remaining silent that they are willingly allowing themselves to be implicated directly by parties involved in this civil conspiracy and being complicit in the defamatory behaviors of their IP and employees, then they will surely do whatever they can to clear themselves whether it be throwing Funi and #kickvic under the bus to save their own hides or by not coming to their aid to save them from their own retarded behavior.

Every one of these woke media companies is a clone of each-other. When you look at the business strategies, they arent even capitalistic. It's all about "Change" and feel good/lollipops and unicorn ideals. There's always SJWs in positions of power. But even scratching the surface INVARIABLY shows a 180 degree reality from the image. They are always in violation of assorted labor laws and pressuring staff to remain silent under penalty of termination. There are always sex scandals/accusations either real or invented, that staff must toe the company line on. And throughout it all, there is the increasing undercurrent of social media based 'unpersoning'/destruction brought to bear against apostates. And it's ramping up.

Every. Single. Time.
SJWs always do what they claim others are doing. It's Bad Guy PR 101, as perfected by Joseph Goebbels. The Nazis were able to make even the WEST believe in the Dresden BS and influence historians even now; meanwhile the PR firms of of a 'massive' clique company and it's attached '3rd party' media can't make the normal person believe their BS. I'm just amazed they're able to fuck it up so bad that they can't even get 1 man fired without their entire industry starting to fall down around them.

Yup. SJW witch hunts are never really about social justice. It is about purging dissent and giving control to select people within the organization. The Day of Absence fiasco at Evergreen being a notable example. Turns out the college president wanted to purge tenured professors who weren't beholden to him and created the whole movement on campus to put pressure on them to resign. The problem was that it grew beyond his control and earned the university a lot of bad press with their crazy antics.

This garbage is no different.

or point out that weak and inept executives allowed this behavior and without a complete clearing house, to expect it again with a different and potentially less fortunate target.... one that may draw law enforcement that may actually lead to all their skeletons being investigated.

sony may still laze back and do fuck all, but Toei absolutely will not. worst case, they pull every last IP and make sure they never do business with anyone remotely involved with them. best case? funi loses DB until those execs are fired and they give it to someone in direct competition with them until said condition is met.

Dragging Sony in is pretty simple. Depose the person they had investigating Vic. That would very quickly bring them to Jesus on the seriousness of the situation. Toei will become enlightened when they look at DVD/Blue ray sales. However I don't think they are in any way blind to it now. It's likely they are simply doing the 'inscrutable Japanese' thing and watching what happens with the suit. It is wholly impossible to believe they are not intimately aware of the Vic Situation.

Interesting if true, but can I get a refresher on who Enosh is and why I should trust what they have to say more than this Terez character? (And who is Terez, for that matter?)

That Terez weirdo is out of their mind. They did their whole spiel on someone else's behalf. After being called out why they didn't do it directly @Kamehacon, they said it was cause they didn't want to do it with the person's permission as they themselves weren't complaining. In which case why did they bring it up in the first place.

Then in another she's talking about assuming gender pronouns. And now's complaining about Nick being compensated for his videos through superchats while they get shit. Running a subreddit is tiring work and they need to be payed for it.

These entitled cunts are beyond annoying. I don't even want to actually link to their stuff (archive submissions are also not working for me btw). These fucks want this convention to wait hand and foot on these cunts despite being internet nobodies. You want to be payed for what you do? How about you actually show up to conventions you promise panels to, maybe they'll treat your friends better. Or why didn't you ask your buddy Geekdom for help? Is it cause you all left him high and dry? Unbelievable.

And all at the same time they continue to parrot the actual plot against Vic which has threatened not only his livelihood but his very life. NEVER let these faggots live this down. They should not be kicked off their high horse, the horse should drop on them.

Emosh is one of the youtubers who's been covering the Vic case and he is #istandwithvic.
He also attended KamehaCon and was actually one of the volunteer staff there actually. He took a picture with Vic during his signing.

Edit: What the hell, why did it double post? How do I delete it?

Another edit: Oh it's fixed now I think.

Maybe I missed it in all the pages here now, but has Monica ever explained how or why she has so many details about a private HR investigation of a fellow contractor? ?
To give her the benefit of the doubt, she was an interviewee in the investigation, and she's not incorrect in that the jellybean story wasn't a result of Vic's firing since technically the result of either investigation wasn't a factor in Vic's firing at all, despite Funi's poorly-worded tweet.

Of course, this doesn't mean she didn't also have access to the supposedly verboten results of the investigation(s) some other way as well.
